Tudingan itu disampaikan oleh akun facebook inisial SR yang menyindir hamba Tuhan atau tokoh agama yang datang mendoakan bakal Paslon sebelum bertolak mendaftar ke KPU Kota Bitung

“Itu tidak benar alias hoax, status seperti itu bisa ganggu stabilitas keamanan Kota Bitung apalagi saat ini sedang tahap Pilkada,” kata Ketua Badan Pekerja Majelis Jemaat GMIM Efrata I Wilayah Bitung XII, Pdt Stevi Lasut, Rabu (11/9/2024).

Ia dan banyak tokoh agama se Kota Bitung yang hadir, dalam kapasitas mendoakan calon pemimpin yang dianggap layak dan pantas memimpin Kota Bitung kedepan.

Apalagi calon pemimpin tersebut merupakan warga GMIM dan Katolik, sehingga dari tokoh agama tersebut dan lainnya datang beri dukungan, suport dan mendoakan keduanya.

“Kami sudah cek ke teman-teman tokoh agama tidak ada seperti yang di posting dan viral di media sosial,” katanya.

Dengan adanya tudingan itu, para tokoh agama di Kota Bitung akan menarik diri dari komitmen bersama aparat keamanan dalam menjaga stabilitas keamanan di Pilkada Bitung 2024.

“Jika pemilik akun SR tidak ditindak aparat penegak hukum, maka kami tidak akan peduli situasi keamanan selama Pilkada. Kami hadir untuk mendoakan malah dituduh menerima uang dari dana hibah. Ini keterlaluan dan penghinaan,” katanya.

Sementara itu, Kasi Humas Polres Bitung, Iptu Abdul Natip Anggai mengaku belum mengetahui terkait pengunduran diri tokoh agama dari keterlibatan menjaga kondusifitas berama aparat keamanan saat Pilkada Bitung 2024.

“Untuk status tersebut sudah sempat disampaikan tokoh agama saat melakukan tatap muka dengan Pak Kapolres Bitung di kantor Polres,” kata Abdul.
