Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Tim Tarsius Presisi Polres Bitung menangkap seorang terduga pelaku pencurian telepon genggam atau handphone, Rabu (11/9/2024).
Terduga pelaku itu adalah seorang wanita inisal WT (34) warga Kecamatan Aertembaga. Ia dilaporkan mencuri handphone di kantin Puskesmas Aertembaga, Selasa (10/9/2024).
Dari informasi, CT yang berstatus residivis kasus pencurian datang ke Puskesmas Aertembaga dengan tujuan berobat, Rabu sekitar pukul 12.30 Wita.
Setelah selesai berobat, CT mampir ke kantin dan melihat handphone merk Infinix Hot40 Pro kombinasi warna kuning hijau di atas meja. Handphone itu milik penjaga kantin bernama Putra Rijali.
Handphone itu diletakkan Putra di atas meja karena sibuk melayani pengunjung dan kesempatan itu dugunakan CT mengambil ponsel lalu menyembunyikannya di dalam bajunya.
Usai mengambil handphone, CT bergegas meninggalkan kantin. Namun sayangnya, aksi CT itu terekam CCTV dan dijadikan sebagai barang bukti untuk melapor ke Polres Bitung.
Aksi CT itu dibenarkan Kasie Humas Polres Bitung, Iptu Abdul Natip Anggai. Setelah mendapat laporan, kata Abdul, Tim Tarsius mencari keberadaan CT dan berhasil ditangkap di Komplex Perum Batas Kota Kelurahan Sagerat Kecamatan Matuari.
“Saat dilakukan introgasi, pelaku CT tidak mengelak dan mengakui perbuatannya. Handphone yang dicuri di kantin disembunyikan di lemari bajunya,” kata Abdul.
CT lanjut Abdul, dijerat dengan Pasal 363 ayat 1 KUHP dan kini sementara menjalani proses pemeriksaan di Mako Polres Bitung.
“Handphone yang dicuri juga telah disita untuk dijadikan barang bukti,” katanya.
