Maurits Mantiri Kumpul Perangkat Kecamatan dan Sampaikan Permohonan Maaf

Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Wali Kota Bitung, Maurits Mantiri menyampaikan permohonan maaf kepada camat dan lurah saat membuka Rapat Koordinasi Pembahasan Data Potensi Desa dan Pembinaan Sektroral, Senin (15/7/2024).

Permohonan maaf itu disampaikan Wali Kota karena hanya bisa hadir seorang diri tanpa didampingi Wakil Wali Kota Bitung, Hengky Honandar di rapat yang yang digagas Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Btung.

“Pak Wakil Wali Kota saya tugaskan untuk menghadiri Rapat Koordinasi dan evaluasi Tim Koordinasi Penanggulangan Kemiskinan Daerah,” kata Maurits.

Wakil Wali Kota, kata Maurits, adalah Ketua Tim Koordinasi Penanggulangan Kemiskinan Daerah sehingga hadir di rapat evaluasi di tingkat provinsi.

Rapat Koordinasi Pembinaan Petugas Data Potensi Desa, kata Maurits, jika ke 69 duta statistik yang terbentuk akan diberikan Surat Keputusan Pelaksanaan Tugas Pendataan agar kedepan akan dimanfaatkan semaksimal mungkin beserta dengan insentifnya.

“Untuk hal itu sementara dikaji di Bagian Hukum agar para Duta Statistik ini bekerja maksimal dan tidak diganti-ganti karena mereka sudah dibekali oleh BPS,” katanya.

Data, kata dia, sangat penting. Karena menurutnya, kadang hoax terjadi karena tidak ada data pendukung yang dibeberkan oleh pemerintah.

“Kadangkala Hoax terjadi karena data pendukung yang dibeberkan adalah data asal-asalan, sehingga oleh orang yang tak bertanggung jawab memanipulasi data yang ada,” katanya.

Saat ini, lanjutnya, pemerintah pusat membutuhkan data yang akurat untuk pemerintah daerah mendapatkan anggaran dari kemerinterian.

“Pemerintah pusat sendiri membutuhkan data yang pasti bukan data yang dibuat untuk menyenangkan pejabat dan jika kita tidak mempunyai data yang pasti maka anggaran dari pemerintah pusat tak akan turun ke dearah,” jelasnya.

Dirinyapun meminta Duta Statistik Kota Bitung untuk focus pada materi dan belajar sebaik-baiknya sebab ilmu yang diberikan BPS bukan hanya untuk Pemkot sendiri tapi pihak swasta sendiri banyak mencari orang yang bisa melakukan pendataan guna pengembangan perusahaannya.

Data itu indentik dengan kebenaran dan dari data yang benar lahir kebijakan yang benar.

“Sebab kebenaran yang hakiki saat ini sangat beda dengan kebenaran sekarang. Sebab, saat ini banyak kebohongan yang diulang-ulang menjadi satu kebenaran dan inilah yang menjadi tugas kita Bersama untuk memperbaiki cara berpikir masyarakat,” katanya.

Sementara itu, Kepala BPS Kota Bitung, Simon Andres Reimisa mengaku sangat bersyukur dengan kebijakan dari Wali Kota Bitung yang sangat berpihak terhadap program PBS.

“Keinginan kami hanya 6 kelurahan, namun Pak Wali Kota menantang kami jika perlu semua kelurahan dilatih untuk mencari data agar Kota Bitung mempunyai satu data kelurahan,” kata Simon.

Menurutnya, jika pada prinsipnya pihak BPS akan mendukung semua program dari Pemerintah Kota Bitung yang ingin melakukan pendataan di kelurahan.

“Untuk para Duta Statistik yang nantinya akan dilatih mendata harap memperhatikan dengan baik materi-materi yang akan disampaikan karena ini adalah ilmu-ilmu statistik yang sering dipergunakan dalam menganalisa kebijakan pemerintah,” katanya.
