Begitu gambaran para mahasiswa yang tergabung Ikatan Putera Puteri Hukum Unsrat (Universitas Sam Ratulangi) Manado yang ikut berbagi dengan masyarakat terdampak erupsi Gunung Ruang, Sitaro, Sulawesi Utara.
Di tengah padatnya aktifitas belajar serta tumpukan tugas kuliah, para mahasiswa menyalurkan bantuan berupa bahan makanan, mie instan, minyak, kopi, teh, susu, telur juga pakaian layak pakai, disalurkan Rabu (8/5/2024) ke sejumlah lokasi pengungsian, salah satunya yang ada di Desa Munte Kecamatan Likupang Barat, Minahasa Utara.
“Donasi ini diberikan melalui hasil open donasi yang diadakan untuk kegiatan ini dari kami Ikatan Putera Puteri Hukum Unsrat,” ujar Ketua Ikatan Putera Puteri Hukum Unsrat, Dave Sompie kepada VivaSulut.com.
Putra dari Ketua Umum Komunitas Likupang Raya (KLiR), Arnold Sompie ini berharap, donasi yang dilakukan Ikatan Putera Puteri Hukum Unsrat bisa memotivasi masyarakat yang lain untuk ikut berbagi dengan para korban erupsi Gunung Ruang.
“Kalau boleh lebih banyak lagi bantuan yang diberikan kepada pengungsi karena untuk bantuan, terlebih khusus dalam bentuk pakaian dan makanan masih sangat dibutuhkan. Karena menurut info yang didapat masyarakat yang mengungsi itu sudah ribuan orang, dan tersebar di berbagai tempat khususnya di daerah Likupang Barat,” ujar Dave.
