Angka Pengguna Narkotika Terus Meningkat, BNN Bitung: Kalangan Pelajar Sangat Rentan

Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Penyalagunaan narkotika kaegori pernah pakai secara signifikan pada kalangan kelompok umur antara 15-24 tahun terus mengalami peningkatan.

Mengacu ke data survei BNN RI, angka pengguna narkotika dari 1,44 persen pada 2021 menjadi 1,52 persen pada 2023.

Hal itu disampaikan Kapala BNN Kota Bitung, Kompol Widarsono SH MH saat menggelar Press Realese 2024 dengan tema Pemguatan Strategi dan Aksi Kolaborasi Dalam P4GN di Kantor BNN Kota Bitung, Senin (23/12/2024) lalu.

“Data itu menjadi perhatian khusus. Karena narkoba juga menyerang kalangan pelajar di semua daerah, termasuk Kota Bitung,” kata Widarsono.

Upaya melakukan pencegahan dan melindungi pelajar, kata Widarsono, advokasi berperan penting dalam membangun kesadaran masyarakat dan mendorong kebijakan yang mendukung pencegahan penyalagunaan narkotika.

Melalui program prioritas nasional, Desa/Kelurahan Bersinar, BNN Kota Bitung teleh membentuk Kelurahan Manembo-nembo dan Kelurahan Girian Indah sebagai Desa Bersinar sehingga selang 2024 telah terbentuk sembilan Kelurahan Bersinar di Kota Bitung.

“Selang 2024, kami juga telah melakukan bimbingan teknis terhadap Penggiat Anti Narkoba sebanyak 25 orang, yang semuanya berasal dari kalangan pendidikan,” katanya.

Selain itu, lanjut Widarsono, BNN Kota Bitung juga melakukan deteksi dini atau tes urine kepada 99 orang. Dari 37 orang berasal dari lingkungan instansi pemerintah, tujuh orang lingkungan pendidikan, 30 orang lingkungan swasta dan 25 orang lingkungan masyarakat.

Widarsono juga menyampaikan, selang 2024, BNN Kota Bitung telah melaksanakan sosialisasi P4GN kepada 2.906 orang. Dan itu adalah bagian dari upaya BNN Kota Bitung mengajak semua kalangan masyarakat dalam upaya pencegahan penyalagunaan narkotika.

“Pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam melakukan pencegahan sangat penting untuk menciptakan ketahanan keluarga terhadap ancaman narkotika. Di program ini, BNN tidak hanya memberikan informasi tentang bahaya narkotika, tetapi juga membangun kesedaran dan kapasitas keluarga untuk mencegah, mengidentifikasi dan menangani masalah narkotika secara mandiri dan berkelanjutan,” jelasnya.

Sepanjang 2024, BNN Kota Bitung juga telah merehabilitasi 26 klien melalui Klinik Pratama BNN Kota Bitung. Melalui program ini, BNN melakukan penguatan kolaborasi dengan Puskesman Bitung Barat dan Lapas Kelas IIB dngan tujuan menciptakan ekosistem rehailitasi yang berkelanjutan serta berkualitas.

“Di 2024 ini, telah terbentuk dua unit IBM di Kelurahan Girian Indah dan Kelurahan Manembo-nembo sehingga BBN Kota Bitung sudah memiliki total lima unit IBM,” katanya.
