Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Warga Kelurahan Manembo-nembo Atas Rt 3 Kecamatan Matuari dikejutkan dengan penemuan mayat, Rabu (2/10/2024).
Mayat itu berjenis kelamin laki-laki diintifikasi bernama Wiswan Panoto (76). Ia ditemukan meninggal di salah ruangan di rumahnya oleh kerabatnya.
Menurut salah satu saksi, Maxi Durant, pada Selasa (1/10/2024), ia dihubungi salah satu anak korban yang berada di luar negeri untuk mengecek keberadaan orang tuanya.
Maxi yang tinggal di Kelurahan Ranoyapo Kecamatan Amurang Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan, baru mendatangi rumah korban Rabu siang sekitar pukul 12.30 Wita.
Setibanya di depan rumah korban, sudah ada kerabat lain yakni Khorni Durant dan bersama-sama mendapati rumah dalam keadaan pintu pagar tertutup dirantai dan digembok.
Maxi bersama Khorni coba memanggil nama korban tapi tak ada jawaban. Maxi kemudian memanjat pagar dengan harapan kunci rumah diletakkan korban di teras, tapi tidak ditemukan.
Setelah mencari-cari kunci, Maxi mencium bau busuk, sehingga mencari sumber bau dengan mengarah ke samping rumah.
Pensiunan ASN terkejut ketika mengitip dan melihat korban berada di dapur dalam keadaan sudah meninggal dengan posisi badan tertelungkup.
Penemuan mayat itu dibenarkan Kasie Humas Polres Bitung, Iptu Abdul Natip Anggai. Menurutnya, begitu mendapat laporan, Kapolsek Matuari, AKP Yusi Kristiani mendatangi lokasi dan melakukan olah TKP.
“Bersama Tim Inafis, korban dilakukan identifikasi serta evakuasi. Korban dibawa ke Rumah Sakit Manembo-nembo untuk dilakukan otopsi,” kata Abdul.
Dari hasil otopisi, kata Abdul, tidak ditemukan tanda-tanda kekerasan pada jasat korban dan diduga sudah meninggal lebih dari 20 hari.
“Keluarga korban menerima hasil pemeriksaan Dokter Forensik dan menolak di otopsi. Dan rencana korban akan di bawa ke Minahasa Selatanuntuk di makamkan secara Muslim,” katanya.
