Gembaran itu disampaikan Novianto setelah dia bakal pasangan calon resmi mendaftar ke KPU Kota Bitung beberapa waktu lalu.

Novianto menegaskan, jika pertarungan finansial dan kapasitas ini akan menjadi bukti sejauh mana masyarakat Kota Bitung cerdas memilih pemimpin dalam menyongsong Indonesia Emas 2045.

“Tapi saya hanya ingin sampaikan, bahwa Indonesia Emas 2045 butuh figur yang punya kemampuan di atas rata-rata, bukan yang mengandalkan citra seakan mereka merakyat dan punya jiwa sosil yang tinggi, padahal faktanya tidak demikian,” katanya.

“Kita justru membutuhkan sosok yang mampu membawa Kota Bitung untuk siap menghadapi berbagai gejolak ekonomi di masa depan dengan menghidupkan ekonomi masyarakat dan menjadikan mereka lebih kuat dan mandiri,” sambungnya.

Masyarakat lanjutnya, tidak boleh terus terusan dibodohi dengan gaya kepemimpinan model feodal seperti yang dipertontonkan Hengky-Randito.

“Mereka pikir dengan memberi kesan seperti itu kepada masyarakat saat Pilkada adalah contoh baik, itu justru sebaliknya. Karena setelah dipilih jadi pemimpin, semua yang mereka lakukan akan sirna dengan sendirinya. Karena itu hanya dilakukan karena kepentingan politik pragmatis sesaat,” katanya.
