Dinas Pariwisata Jual Destinasi Bitung Lewat Aplikasi Sikumis

Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Aplikasi jadi pilihan Dinas Pariwisata Kota Bitung untuk lebih menggaungkan destinasi pariwisata.

Lewat aplikasi Sistem Informasi Kreatif untuk Memasarkan dan Mempromosikan Destinasi Wisata (Sikumis), Dinas Pariwisata merambah dunia digital.

Aplikasi ini dikenalkan dalam Pelatihan Pemasaran Digital yang merupakan salah satu kegiatan rutin Dinas Pariwisata Kota Bitung, Selasa (27/8/2024).

Pelatihan itu dibuka Staf Ahli Bidang Pemerintahan, Kemasyarakatan dan SDM Kota Bitung, Anneke Tumbelaka mewakili Wali Kota Bitung, Maurits Mantiri.

Menurut Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Kota Bitung, Pingkan Kapoh, strategi pemasaran digital di era sekarang ini perlu mengembangkan inovasi-inovasi kreatif khususnya melalui aspek digital untuk memasarkan pariwisata.

Dari pengalaman, kata dia, saat kunjungan kapal pesiar yang lalu, banyak wisatawan mancanegara sebelum menginjakkan kaki di Terminal Pelabuhan Bitung sudah terlebih dahulu melakukan pencarian melalui internet tentang destinasi-destinasi wisata yang ada di Bitung dan sekitarnya.

“Bahkan sudah melakukan pemesanan secara online sehingga usaha-usaha pariwisata lokal yang tidak siap dengan platform digital pasti ketinggalan,” kata Pingkan.

Sehingga, kata dia, melalui inovasi kreatif Sikumis yang diimplementasikan dalam situs www.bitungtravel.com menyediakan layanan pemasaran bagi pelaku-pelaku usaha pariwisata termasuk didalamnya, pelaku ekonomi kreatif, hotel, restoran, cafe bahkan sampai guide lokal.

Situs ini, mengambil konsep pasar online tempat pertemuan antara wisatawan dan pelaku usaha pariwisata dalam satu platform digital.

“Konsepnya sama dengan pasar online, dengan mempertemukan pelaku pariwisata Bitung dan calon Wisatawan sehingga bisa saling berbagi informasi soal destinasi wisata dan harga yang disepakati,” jelasnya.

Pingkan juga mengatakan, Pelatihan Pemasaran Digital ini akan mensosialisasikan Sikumis sehingga lebih banyak lagi stakeholder-stakeholder pariwisata yang terlibat didalamnya.

Kepala Bidang Pengembangan Destinasi Pariwisata, David Tambunan yang juga bertindak sebagai Ketua Pelaksana Pelatihan Pemasaran Digital ini, berharap selama tiga hari pelaksanaan peserta mampu menyerap materi-materinya.

“Pelaksanaannya 27-29 Agustus 2024, yang terdiri dari Pembelajaran Materi dan Praktek, diharapkan menghasilkan SDM Pariwisata yang handal dalam memasarkan produk ataupun destinasi pariwisata,” kata David.

Adapun peserta pelatihan, kata David, dipilih mewakili komunitas, pengelola destinasi, pelaku ekraf, kampung wisata serta unsur lainnya.

“Beberapa materi yang akan diajarkan adalah tehnik-tehnik pembuatan konten mulai dari cara pengambilan gambar sampai dengan proses editing,” katanya.

Menyikapi, program pariwisata ini, Ketua DPRD Kota Bitung sementara, Geraldi Mantiri meminta kepada OPD agar terus melibatkan komunitas terlebih para influencer agar lewat konten yang mereka lakukan di media sosial, destinasi pariwisata Kota Bitung makin dikenal.

“Saya berharap agar influencer dari Bitung juga dilibatkan dalam acara -acara seperti ini agar mampu mempromosi di media sosial, karena sasarannya bukan hanya turis manca negara, namun juga adalah wisatawan lokal yang jika datang berkunjung pasti bergerombol,” kata Geraldi.
