Jualan Pariwisata Maurits Mantiri Bukan Pepesan Kosong

Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Perjuangan Wali Kota Bitung, Maurits Mantiri menjual program pariwisata bukan hanya pepesan kosong.

Buktinya, sampai dengan bulan Juni 2024 sudah ada sekitar enam kapal pesiar yang berkunjung ke Kota Bitung membawa ribuan wisatawan.

Kali ini, giliran Kapal Pesiar Haritage Adventurer kembali menyambangi Kota Bitung membawa 93 orang terdiri dari 77 penumpang dan sisanya adalah Anak Buah kapal.

Kapal ini berlabuh di teluk Batuputih Kecamatan Ranowulu, Sabtu (29/6/2024) dengan tujuan Taman Wisata Alam (TWA) Batuputih.

Menurut Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Kota Bitung, Pingkan Kapoh, puluhan wisatawan mengunakan beberapa perahu karet untuk merapat ke kawasan pantai dan langsung masuk ke kawasan hutan setelah sebelumnya pihak agen yang mengurus tiket masuk kawasan dan beberapa persyaratan administrasi lainnya.

“Pukul 6.00 Wita, para wisatawan turun dari kapal kemudian diangkut dengan perahu karet menuju TWA Batuputih,“ kata Pingkan.

Sesampainya di TWA, kata Pingkan, puluhan wisatawan takjup dengan kondisi TWA serta satwa liar yang dijumpai.

“Jika banyak daerah menjual wisata buatannya, kita sendiri kaya dengan sumber wisata yang diciptakan Tuhan. Apalagi, hutan konservasi ini dikelilingi oleh perkampungan,” katanya.

Usai melakukan perjalanan ekologi, sekitar pukul 11.15 Wita, rombongan wisatawan kembali ke kapal yang didisain khusus untuk mengankut 140 orang saja dengan panjang kapal 124 meter dan lebar 18 meter dan tujuh tingkat.

“Setelah dari TWA, mereka menuju ke TWA Batuangus Kecamatan Aertembaga menikmati keindahan di bawah laut,” katanya.

Kepala BKSDA Sulut, Askhari Maskiki mengatakan, pihaknya akan selalu support semua kegiatan pariwisata Kota Bitung apalagi masuk dalam lokasi wisata kawasan hutan konservasi.

Menurutnya, sinergitas Pemerintah Kota Bitung dan Kementerian Kehutanan soal pariwisata sudah dilakukan dalam bentuk kerja sama yang lakukan Wali Kota, Maurits Mantiri.

“Kerjasama itu dilakukan diawal kepemipinan saya sebagai Kepala BKSDA,” kata Askhari.

Askhari juga mengatakan jika bentuk kerja sama inilah yang membuat kawasan TWA makin dikenal bukan hanya tingkat lokal namun sampai ke Internasional.

Dirinya mengaku salut dengan sosok visioner Maurits Mantiri yang mampu menjual potensi pariwisata seperti TWA Batuputih dan Batuangus hingga berhasil mendatangkan kapal pesiar beberapa kali.

“Apalagi Pemkot Bitung dan Kementerian telah membangun sarana pariwisata di kawasan TWA membuat tempat ini lebih cantik, meski memang harus dilakukan perawatan,” katanya.
