Terpanggil Mengabdi untuk Masyarakat Minut, Melky Pangemanan Optimis Kolaborasi PSI – Demokrat

Ketua PSI Sulut Melky Pangemanan mendaftar di Partai Demokrat Minut sebagai bakal calon bupati.

Minut, VivaSulut.com – Anggota DPRD Sulut periode 2019-2024 yang juga kembali terpilih di periode 2024-2029, Melky Pangemanan terpanggil untuk mengabdi bagi masyarakat Minahasa Utara (Minut) dalam perhelatan Pemilihan Bupati atau Pilbup Minut 2024.

Keterpanggilan Melky Pangemanan itu dibuktikan dengan proses pendaftaran ke sejumlah partai politik sebagai bakal calon bupati, salah satunya di Partai Demokrat Minut.

Didampingi istri Peggy Mekel, Ketua PSI Sulut itu tiba di sekretariat Partai Demokrat Minut, Sabtu (25/5/2024) sore.

“Puji Tuhan, saya boleh datang di rumah besar Partai Demokrat, datang secara langsung menyerahkan dokumen administratif dan nanti beberapa dokumen lain dilengkapi berdasarkan petunjuk dari tim penjaringan,” kata Pangemanan.

Pangemanan merasa optimis dengan kolaborasi PSI dan Demokrat, terlebih keduanya sama-sama pernah memenangkan Prabowo Subianto dan Gibran Rakabuming Raka sebagai Presiden dan Wakil Presiden RI periode 2024-2029.

Begitu juga, kolaborasi Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono sebagai Ketua Umum Partai Demokrat dan Kaesang Pangarep sebagai Ketua Umum PSI, memiliki kesamaan yaitu anak presiden yang punya andil besar untuk pemerintahan, yang di dalamnya ingin melayani dan menyejahterahkan rakyat.

Menurut Pangemanan, kinerja Koalisi Indonesia Maju (KIM) khususnya di Kabupaten Minahasa Utara, dengan capaian suara 81% untuk pasangan Prabowo Subianto – Gibran Rakabuming Raka adalah prestasi luar biasa.

Ia mengatakan, secara nasional, Minut merupakan peringkat kedua daerah pemenangan Prabowo-Gibran setelah Toraja, Sulawesi Selatan.

“Tetapi esensi utamanya adalah bagaimana panggilan saya untuk mengabdi dan melayani masyarakat Minahasa Utara. Dan kami sangat mengapresiasi Partai Demokrat. Terima kasih sahabat saya Pak Ketua Stendy dan tim penjaringan yang sudah menerima saya dengan baik,” ungkapnya.

Lanjutnya, dalam pembangunan di daerah, perlu sinergitas pembangunan antara pemerintah pusat sampai di daerah.

“Dengan adanya kolaborasi PSI dan Demokrat, saya optimis dua kekuatan nasional sampai di daerah ini, akan dengan mudah mendapat bantuan dari pemerintah pusat,” pungkas Melky Pangemanan.

Berkas administrasi Melky Pangemanan diterima Ketua Tim Penjaringan Bakal Calon Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Partai Demokrat Minut, Reza Pomantow, didampingi Ketua Partai Demokrat Minut Stendy Rondonuwu dan jajaran.

Rondonuwu mengatakan, Melky Pangemanan adalah pendaftar pertama sebagai bakal calon bupati di Partai Demokrat.

Ia menegaskan bahwa Demokrat hanya mengusung pasangan calon bupati dan wakil bupati yang partainya satu panggung mengusung bakal calon gubernur Elly Engelbert Lasut (E2L).

“Jadi partai kami tertutup untuk Partai yang tidak mau berkoalisi dengan Partai Demokrat mengusung E2L sebagai calon gubernur,” tegas Stendy.

Stendy Rondonuwu secara resmi menyatakan diri untuk tidak maju dalam pertarungan Pilkada Minut 2024.
