Manado, VivaSulut.com – Masa aktif Rinny Tamuntuan, sebagai Penjabat Bupati Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe berakhir sudah.
Namanya ditolak Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri), menyusul terpilihnya Kepala Biro Hukum Sumber Daya Manusia, Organisasi dan Tata Laksana pada Pusat Pelaporan dan Analisis Transaksi Keuangan, Albert Huppy Wounde sebagai Penjabat Bupati Kepulauan Sangihe.
Rinny Tamuntuan awalnya telah diusulkan Pemprov Sulut dan bahkan menerima nota dinas sebagai Pelaksana Harian (Plh) Bupati Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe yang diserahkan Gubernur Sulut Olly Dondokambey, di gedung Mapalus Kantor Gubernur Sulut, Rabu (22/5/2024).
Namun, beberapa jam usai penyerahan nota dinas tersebut, terbit Surat Keputusan Menteri Dalam Negeri nomor: 100.2.1.3-1216 Tahun 2024 Pemberhentian dan Pengangkatan Pejabat Bupati Kepulauan Sangihe Provinsi Sulawesi Utara yang ditandatangani Menteri Tito Karnavian.
Rinny Tamuntuan diangkat menjadi penjabat Bupati Kepulauan Sangihe oleh Gubernur Sulawesi Utara Olly Dondokambey, di Graha Gubernuran Bumi Beringin, Manado, pada 22 Mei 2022.
Rinny adalah Kepala Dinas Sosial Provinsi Sulut, saudara kandung dari istri Gubernur Sulut, Olly Dondokambey, Rita Tamuntuan.
Suami Rinny Tamuntuan yaitu Ketua DPRD Sulut Fransiscus Andi Silengen (2020-2024) dan kembali terpilih pada Pileg 2024.
