Indonesia memiliki banyak produk berkualitas dan sudah diekspor ke berbagai negara. Saking terkenalnya, merek-merek ini sering dikira produk asing.

Berikut ini adalah 13 merek lokal yang namanya sudah dikenal luas di Indonesia, bahkan banyak yang sudah mendunia. Apa saja? Yuk simak ulasannya di sini.

1. CFC
California Fried Chicken atau yang dikenal CFC adalah merek di bawah PT Pioneerindo Gourmet International Tbk (d/h PT Putra Sejahtera Pioneerindo). Mengutip laman resmi cfcindonesia.com, restoran cepat saji ini berdiri pada tahun 1983 di Jakarta.

Awalnya, perusahaan ini memegang waralaba California Pioneer Chicken dari Pioneer Take out Amerika Serikat. Akan tetapi sejak 1989 perusahaan ini melepaskan diri dari waralaba dan memproduksi serta memasarkan produknya sendiri dengan nama CFC.

2. Eiger
Penggemar kegiatan outdoor pasti tahu merek Eiger. Produk-produk Eiger sudah melanglang buana sampai ke Jepang, Malaysia, Filipina, dan Lebanon.

Perusahaan ini sudah ada sejak 1979 dan menjual aneka peralatan dan fashion outdoor, seperti sepatu, sandal, pakaian, jaket, tas, dan tenda.

3. Hammer
Hammer juga sering dianggap sebagai produk asing. Meskipun namanya berbahasa Inggris, merek pakaian ini asli dari Indonesia yang dibesarkan oleh Eddy Hartono di bawah PT Warna Mardhika.

Dilaporkan dari situs resmi PT Warna Mardhika, perusahaan ini mulai beroperasi pada tahun 1987 dengan meluncurkan merek pakaian HAMMER. Merek lainnya seperti NAIL, PULAU KELAPA, COCONUT ISLAND Kids, dan OSPREY.

4. The Executive
The Executive adalah brand dari PT Delami Garment Industries asal Bandung, Jawa Barat. Di toko modern, merek ini sering bersanding dengan merek-merek dunia, sehingga dikira sebagai produk asing.

Produk-produk The Executive sudah tembus ke pasar global dan masuk ke negara-negara Asia Tenggara.

5. J.CO
Merek donat J.CO juga merupakan merek lokal yang banyak dianggap sebagai produk asing. J.CO bahkan mampu bersaing dengan merek donat yang sudah lebih dulu menguasai pasar, seperti Dunkin’ Donuts.

J.CO adalah merek di bawah Johnny Andrean Group. Gerai pertamanya berdiri pada Mei 2006. Setahun kemudian, J.CO melebarkan sayap ke Malaysia, kemudian Singapura, Filipina, Hong Kong, dan Arab Saudi.

6. Krisbow
Krisbow adalah merek perlengkapan rumah dan barang-barang teknik yang sudah terkenal. Nama Krisbow berasal dari singkatan Krisnandi Wibowo yang merupakan putra pendiri Kawan Lama Wong Jin.

Merek lokal ini merupakan anggota Kawan Lama Group yang juga menaungi Ace Hardware dan Informa. Tak heran jika produk Krisbow ada di dua toko tersebut.

7. GT Radial
Nama GT Radial sering muncul sebagai sponsor di berbagai kegiatan olahraga, terutama balapan. Namanya yang mendunia sering membuatnya dianggap sebagai merek asing.

Padahal GT Radial berada di bawah PT Gajah Tunggal. GT adalah singkatan dari Gajah Tunggal. Produk ban GT Radial sudah digunakan di 80 negara.

8. Buccheri
Buccheri memasarkan produk alas kaki pria dan wanita. Merek ini sudah ada sejak 1980. Gerai pertamanya berada di Pasar Baroe.

Sejarahnya, nama Buccheri adalah singkatan dari tiga bersaudara asal Makassar, yaitu Budi, Ediansyah dan Hery. Kini Buccheri sudah memiliki lebih dari 120 cabang yang tersebar di Indonesia.

9. Terry Palmer
Terry Palmer merupakan merek handuk yang ternama di Indonesia, yakni di bawah PT Indah Jaya. Nama Palmer sebetulnya adalah singkatan dari Palmerah yang merupakan lokasi pabrik saat pertama kali.

Perusahaan tersebut awalnya memproduksi handuk untuk pasar lokal sejak 1962, kemudian mengembangkan sayap bisnis dengan mengekspor produk ke Eropa sejak 1988.

Kemudian PT Indah Jaya membuka pabrik di Tangerang pada 1992. Pada tahun yang sama, perusahaan ini mulai mengekspor produk ke Jepang.

10. Silverqueen
Silverqueen menjadi produk cokelat paling favorit di Indonesia. Ternyata cokelat ini diproduksi di Indonesia, tepatnya di Garut, Jawa Barat.

Awalnya, Silverqueen diproduksi oleh perusahaan NV Ceres. Kemudian, perusahaan Belanda ini dibeli oleh Ming Chee Chuang, pria berkebangsaan Burma keturunan China yang tinggal di Garut.

NV Ceres berubah nama menjadi PT Ceres dan bergabung dengan Petra Foods Limited yang masih dimiliki satu keluarga.

11. Lea Jeans
Tak hanya Levi’s, merek pakaian berbahan jin, Lea Jeans juga sudah dikenal dunia. Dikutip dari situs resmi leajeans.com, merek ini ada sejak 1972 dengan mengusung American Style dan pakaian kasual.

12. Holland Bakery
Toko roti Holland Bakery banyak ditemukan di berbagai kota. Tokonya khas dengan ornamen kincir angin khas Belanda. Produknya antara lain roti, kue, biskuit, hingga jajanan pasar.

Holland Bakery sudah berdiri sejak tahun 1978. Merek ini digunakan oleh PT Mustika Citra Rasa yang berpusat di Karang Bolong, Jakarta Utara.

Holland Bakery kini memiliki 23 cabang pusat yang mengelola lebih dari 450 gerai di berbagai kota besar, seperti Jabodetabek, Bandung, Surabaya, Lampung, Batam, Pekanbaru, dan Solo.

13. HokBen
Terakhir adalah restoran cepat saji dengan produk masakan Jepang, yaitu HokBen atau yang dulunya dikenal sebagai Hoka Hoka Bento. Merek ini berada di bawah perusahaan PT Bogainti.

Restoran ini didirikan pada 18 April 1985 dan mulai hadir di Kebon Kacang, Jakarta. Dulunya merek Hoka Hoka Bento memang ada di Jepang.

Oleh Hendra Arifin, nama tersebut dibeli lisensinya sehingga bisa dia pakai di Indonesia. Namun dia tidak membeli waralaba, sehingga restoran ini benar-benar asli Indonesia. Kini nama Hoka Hoka Bento juga sudah tak ada lagi di Jepang.

Itulah tadi 13 merek lokal yang sering dikira produk tunggal. Produk-produk ini sudah dikenal di berbagai daerah di Indonesia, dan banyak pula yang sudah mendunia.
