Jaga Kesehatan Mentalmu Dengan Cara Ini !

KONDISI kesehatan mental dapat memengaruhi pemikiran, suasana hati, dan perilaku. Apabila kondisi mental kita sehat, kita bisa menjalani aktivitas sehari-hari dengan lebih baik dan penuh percaya diri. Sebaliknya, gangguan kesehatan mental dapat mengganggu aktivitas hingga menurunkan kualitas hidup seseorang. Pada kondisi yang lebih berat, orang yang mengalami gangguan kesehatan mental bahkan dapat melakukan hal-hal berbahaya seperti percobaan bunuh diri.

Untuk  itu, menjaga kesehatan mental sangatlah penting. Ini caranya!

  1. Selalu Berpikir Positif

Pola pikir positif dapat membuat kita lebih percaya diri dan memperbaiki suasana hati. Berpikir positif membuat hati tenang dan terhindar dari kecemasan dan stress yang berlebih.

  1. Olahraga Rutin

Tubuh yang aktif bergerak tidak hanya baik untuk kesehatan fisik, tapi juga berkontribusi positif pada kesehatan mental. Fisik dan mental juga makin prima jika seseorang rutin berolahraga setidaknya 30 menit setiap hari. Pilih jenis olahraga di luar ruangan karena menghirup udara di luar ruangan bisa membantu meredakan stres.

  1. Meditasi

Sebuah penelitian Journal Science Direct membuktikan bahwa seseorang yang mengikuti kegiatan meditasi dapat mengelola stres dengan lebih baik dibandingkan orang yang tidak mengikuti meditasi.

  1. Konsumsi Makanan Bergizi

Mengonsumsi makanan bergizi bukan hanya bermanfaat untuk kesehatan fisik, tetapi juga baik bagi kesehatan mental. Karbohidrat dapat meningkatkan hormon yang membangun suasana hati agar positif. Sedangkan protein dapat meningkatkan zat kimia di otak yang membantu tubuh tetap waspada.

  1. Tidur Cukup

Pada dasarnya, manusia membutuhkan tidur setiap harinya. Hal ini karena pada saat itulah tubuh bekerja memperbaiki segala jenis kerusakan, baik dalam hal fisik maupun mental. Kurang istirahat dan tidur dapat membuat kita menjadi cepat marah, tidak sabar, sulit berkonsentrasi, murung, stress dan depresi

  1. Batasi Bermain Sosial Media

Melakukan aktifitas online berlebihan berbahaya untuk kesehatan mental. Diketahui, dengsn terus-menerus melihat informasi tentang kehidupan orang lain dapat membuat kita membandingkannya dengan diri sendiri. “Ini meningkatkan perasaan rendah diri, yang memicu perasaan cemas dan depresi,” kata Oludara Adeeyo, pekerja sosial psikiatri dan penulis “Self-Care for Black Women”, dikutip dari Healthline. Salah satu cara mengatasi gangguan mental pada diri sendiri yakni dengan membatasi bermain gadget. (Laya Dewi)
