Tomohon, VivaSulut.com – Puluhan siswa dan siswi SMU Kosgoro Tumatantang Tomohon Selatan antusias mendengar penjelasan Kasat Binmas Polres Tomohon, AKP Hendrik A Wenas terkait bahaya serta penyalagunaan narkotika dan obat terlarang (Narkoba), Rabu (15/1/2025).

SMU Kosgoro Tumatantang Tomohon Selatan menjadi lokasi kegiatan program pembinaan dan penyuluhan Polres Tomohon dan Hendrik mengajak para siswa agar menjauhi Narkoba karena merugikan diri sendiri.

“Bawalah diri adik-adik kedalam pergaulan yang baik dan positif. Teruslah belajar dengan baik dan kejarlah cita-citamu, yang nantinya dapat membanggakan diri sendiri, orang tua, keluarga terutama bangsa dan negara,” kata Hendrik.

Hendrik juga berpesan agar para siswa tidak melakukan bullying terhadap sesama teman di sekolah. Bijak dalam menggunakan media sosial dan tidak membuat atau menyebarkan informasi/berita bohong atau Hoax) serta ujaran kebencian.

“Jika ada informasi yang diragukan, jangan ikut-ikutan membagikan. Karena informasi yang viral di media sosial belum tentu benar, jadi cek and ricek sebelum membagikan sesuatu,” katanya.

Selain itu, ia juga mengajak para siswa menjadi pelopor keselamatan dalam berlalulintas. Karena menurutnya, angka pelanggaran dan lakalantas sampai saat ini masih didominasi usia remaja atau siswa.

“Kalau belum cukup umur membawa kendaraan atau belum punya SIM, jangan dulu karena berbahaya,” katanya.

Hadir juga dalam pembinaan dan penyuluhan itu, Kepala SMU Kosgoro Tumatantang Tomohon Selatan, Fredy Nusa SPd bersama para guru dan staf, KBO Sat Binmas Polres Tomohon, IPTU Robert Kalele, Kanit Bintibsos, AIPTU F Rengkung, Kanit Binpolmas, AIPTU C Mokoagow, Kanit Bhabinkamtibmas, AIPTU R Kountul, Kanit Binkamsa, AIPDA Harlie Wolah serta anggota Sat Binmas Polres Tomohon.
