Melia Moesrin Bingung Diklarifikasi Pimpinan DPRD soal Mahar PAW

Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Calon anggota DPRD Kota Bitung, Malia Moesrin mengaku kaget dan bingung saat dihubungi pimpinan DPRD soal informasi dugaan mahar atau uang setoran terkait proses prgantian antar waktu (PAW), Selasa (7/1/2025).

Melia mengaku tidak tahu menahu soal informasi itu dan memastikan tidak ada mahar seperti rumor yang berdar jelang Paripurna PAW menggantikan Erwin Wurgian.

“Saya kaget dan bingung mau jawab apa karena memang tidak ada permintaan apalagi kewajiban menyiapkan uang untuk keperluan proses PAW,” kata Melia.

Kader Partai Golkar ini juga memastikan, tidak ada angota DPRD apalagi pimpinan yang menyampaikan serta meminta mahar untuk memperlancar proses PAW.

“Semuanya diurus partai dan teman-teman di DPRD. Kami hanya diminta melengkapi berkas administrasi saja, itupun dibantu teman-teman,” katanya.

Selain Melia, dua calon anggota DPRD lainnya yakni Rafika Papente dan Edwin Podo juga menepis informasi soal adanya mahar proses PAW.

Seperti diberitkan sebelumnya, berhembus kabar jika proses PAW itu terkendala dengan permintaan sejumlah uang di lembaga DPRD. Informasinya, ketiga calon pengganti anggota DPRD itu diminta untuk menyiapkan uang sebesar Rp 15 juta hingga Rp 25 juta untuk “memuluskan” proses pelantikan.

Sekretaris DPRD Kota Bitung, Albert Sarese mengaku tidak mengetahui jika ketiga calon anggota DPRD yang akan dilantik diminta untuk menyiapkan uang setoran.

Pernyataan itu disampaikan Albert di hadapan Wali Kota Bitung, Maurits Mantiri, Wakil Wali Kota Bitung, Hengky Honandar dan Sekretaris Daerah Kota Bitung, Rudy Theno saat rapat perdana Pemkot Bitung, Senin (6/1/2025).

“Kalau itu (uang setoran,red) kami tidak mengetahui, ” kata Albert.

Albert menjelaskan, belum dilaksanakannya rapat Paripurna PAW karena masih ada pelaksanaan rapat-rapat dengan fraksi dan pimpinan DPRD Kota Bitung.

“Tinggal menunggu dua agenda itu kemudian dijadwalkan Paripurna PAW,” katanya.
