Gas Melon Kembali Langka di Bitung, Hendry Tangkudung: Ada Kerusakan di Matungkas

Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Gas ukuran 3 Kg kembali mengalami kelangkaan di Kota Bitung. Kelangkaan menimbulkan sejumlah spekulasi di tengah masyarakat hingga tudingan lemahnya pengawasan penyaluran tabung LPG yang akrab disebut gas tabung melon.

Kembali langkahnya gas tabung melon ini menjadi keresahan masyarakat, dan menurut pemerhati pemerintahan, Petrus Rumbayan, anggota DPRD harus segera mengunakan fungsi pengawasannya.

“Kami meminta anggota DPRD untuk segera mengunakan fungsi pengawasannya guna melakukan rapat kerja dengan semua instansi teknis terkait,” kata Petrus, Selasa (10/12/2024).

Petrus berharap para anggota DPRD Kota Bitung tidak hanya menutup mata dan telinga dengan keadaan yang terjadi saat ini.

Apalagi kata dia, saat ini masyarakat mulai mempersiapkan diri untuh menghadapi natal dan tahun baru sehingga kebutuhan gas melon cukup tinggi.

“Kelangkaan ini perlu di respons cepat oleh anggota DPRD dan instansi terkait. Kalau perlu dilakukan investigasi mendalam terkait kelangkaan, jangan sampai ada upaya penimbunan,” katanya.

Kerusakan Alat Pengisian

Menanggapi kelangkaan tabung melon ini, Kepala Bagian Sumber Daya Alam (SDA) Setda Kota Bitung, Hendry Adrian Tangkudung menyatakan telah berkoordinasi dengan PT Pertamina Patra Niaga SulutGo.

Hasil dari koordinasi itu, kata Hendry, ada kerusakan alat pengisian di Matungkas, sehingga semua pengisian diarahkan ke Manado dan terjadi antrian panjang.

“Tadi sudah koordinasi dengan Sales Branch Manager 4 LPG PT. Pertamina Patra Niaga SulutGo. Menerut mereka ada kerusakan alat sejak 19 November lalu. Jadi jadwal tertunda untuk penyaluran ke pangkalan,” kata Hendry.

Ia juga menyatakan, Pertamina memastikan distribusi gas tabung melon akan normal dalam waktu dekat, karena masalah operasional sudah bisa diatasi.

“Mulai hari ini ketersediaan gas pasti sudah normal kembali. Karena kerusakan alat di Matungkas sudah bisa diatasi Pertamina,” katanya.

Hendry juga menyampaikan permohonan maaf kepada masyarakat Kota Bitung atas kondisi keterlambatan pasokan gas.

“Mudah-mudahan pemulihan pasokan gas melon di Kota Bitung cepat teratasi dengan baik. Kami juga akan selalu melakukan pengawasan,” katanya.
