Startup Energi Dukung Transformasi PLN

Manado, VivaSulut.com- Direktur Utama PLN, Darmawan Prasodjo mengatakan kolaborasi dengan startup energi sangat penting untuk mendukung transformasi PLN sebagai perusahaan energi yang lebih inovatif dan adaptif.

Program Connext Powered by PLN yang diluncurkan pada 2023, diharapkan menjadi “rumah besar” bagi pertumbuhan startup energi di Indonesia.

“Kami ingin PLN menjadi pusat ekosistem startup energi di Indonesia. Kolaborasi ini bukan hanya untuk PLN, namun juga untuk mendorong pertumbuhan bisnis, pasar, dan peluang baru bagi seluruh mitra,” ujar Darmawan.

Darmawan menambahkan bahwa startup sektor energi memiliki potensi besar dan merupakan calon penopang ekosistem energi Indonesia di masa depan. Untuk itu, sebagai Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN), PLN terus membuka diri untuk bekerja sama dalam berbagai pengembangan bisnis.

“Inisiatif ini menjadi langkah strategis dalam membangun ekosistem yang kaya akan inovasi dan kolaborasi, menciptakan peluang besar bagi pertumbuhan startup di sektor energi yang ramah lingkungan. Ini merupakan komitmen nyata PLN dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi, menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan, mengentaskan kemiskinan, sekaligus menjaga kelestarian lingkungan,” tambah Darmawan.

Direktur Perencanaan Korporat dan Pengembangan Bisnis PLN, Hartanto Wibowo menegaskan bahwa kolaborasi dengan startup akan membuka banyak peluang bisnis baru. Upaya ini diharapkan memberikan dampak positif bagi ekosistem bisnis di sektor energi, sejalan dengan komitmen PLN untuk terus bertransformasi menjadi perusahaan yang inovatif dan ramah lingkungan.

“Kami berharap di kuartal pertama 2025, ada proyek konkret yang bisa dieksekusi sebagai hasil dari MoU ini. Ini bukan sekadar kerja sama, tetapi sebuah perjalanan panjang untuk menciptakan masa depan yang lebih cerah bagi industri energi di Indonesia,” tambah Hartanto.

Hartanto melanjutkan, Connext Powered by PLN merupakan program yang dirancang PLN untuk merangsang munculnya inovasi kelistrikan dan pemanfaatan energi hijau. Ia berharap sejumlah startup terpilih akan dapat berkembang bersama dengan ekosistem PLN.

“Diharapkan untuk para startup yang akan bekerja sama dengan ekosistem PLN dapat mengeksplorasi lebih lanjut potensi-potensi bisnis lainnya, serta melanjutkan kolaborasi sampai dengan tahapan komersialisasi bersama PLN Group,” ujar Hartanto.
