Sangihe,VivaSulut.com—Pimpinan Badan Pengawas Pemilu (Bawaslu) Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe, Wenseslaus Fransiscus Makawaehe, turut menghadiri dan mengawasi jalannya rapat pleno rekapitulasi penghitungan perolehan suara tingkat Kabupaten Sangihe dalam pemilihan Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Sulawesi Utara serta Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Kepulauan Sangihe.
Kegiatan yang dihadiri oleh Panitia Pemilihan Kecamatan (PPK) se-Sangihe dan saksi pasangan calon (paslon) ini berlangsung tertib. Proses rapat pleno secara resmi dibuka oleh Ketua Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe, Absan Tahendung.
Pengawasan dari Bawaslu bertujuan memastikan bahwa setiap tahapan rekapitulasi dilaksanakan sesuai dengan prosedur dan aturan yang berlaku.
“Ini merupakan komitmen untuk menjaga integritas proses pemilu di Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe,” ungkap Makawaehe.
Rapat pleno ini menjadi salah satu tahapan penting dalam memastikan hasil pemilu yang kredibel dan dapat diterima oleh semua pihak, baik peserta pemilu maupun masyarakat luas. (nie)
