KPU Bolmut Berharap Peserta Pilkada Taati Atura Dimasa Tenang

BOLMUT, VIVASULUT.com – Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Utara (Bolmut) mengingatkan seluruh peserta Pemilihan 2024 untuk mematuhi ketentuan masa tenang yang telah diatur dalam Peraturan KPU Nomor 13 Tahun 2024.

Masa tenang yang berlangsung mulai tanggal 24 hingga 26 November 2024 menjadi momentum penting untuk menciptakan suasana pemilihan yang tertib dan damai.

Ketua Divisi Sosialisasi Pendidikan Pemilih, Partisipasi Masyarakat, dan Sumber Daya Manusia KPU Bolaang Mongondow Utara, Firman SY. Stion, menyampaikan bahwa masa tenang adalah waktu yang harus steril dari aktivitas kampanye, sebagaimana diatur dalam Pasal 1 ayat (18) Peraturan KPU Nomor 13 Tahun 2024.

Firman juga menekankan pentingnya pembersihan alat peraga kampanye (APK) yang harus diselesaikan paling lambat tiga hari sebelum hari pemungutan suara, sesuai ketentuan Pasal 28 dan Pasal 39 Peraturan KPU.

Selain itu, penggunaan media sosial dan media massa juga menjadi perhatian utama selama masa tenang. Ia mengingatkan bahwa akun resmi media sosial pasangan calon, partai politik peserta pemilihan, atau tim kampanye harus dinonaktifkan sebelum masa tenang dimulai, sebagaimana tertuang dalam Pasal 45 Peraturan KPU Nomor 13 Tahun 2024.

“Media massa cetak, elektronik, media sosial, maupun daring dilarang menyiarkan konten kampanye yang dapat menguntungkan atau merugikan salah satu pasangan calon,” tegasnya, merujuk pada Pasal 47.

Tak hanya itu, segala bentuk aktivitas kampanye, baik pada masa tenang maupun di hari pemungutan suara, juga dilarang keras sesuai Pasal 63.

Larangan ini menjadi penegasan bahwa masa tenang bukan sekadar formalitas, melainkan upaya serius untuk menjaga netralitas dan keadilan dalam pelaksanaan pemilihan.Terkahir, ia mengapresiasi kerja sama semua pihak selama masa kampanye yang berlangsung hingga kini.

“Kami mengucapkan terima kasih kepada pasangan calon, partai politik peserta pemilihan, tim kampanye, dan seluruh masyarakat yang telah mematuhi aturan kampanye. Mari bersama-sama kita hormati masa tenang untuk menciptakan pemilihan yang damai dan berkualitas,” pungkasnya.
