Electricity Connect 2024, PLN Galang Kolaborasi Global Wujudkan Transisi Energi di Indonesia

Manado, VivaSulut.com – PT PLN (Persero) terus menggalang kolaborasi global demi mendukung upaya Pemerintah dalam mewujudkan transisi energi di Tanah Air. Hal ini tercermin dalam pembukaan ajang Electricity Connect 2024 di Jakarta Convention Center pada Rabu (20/11/2024).

Pada ajang konferensi dan pameran sektor ketenagalistrikan terbesar se-Asia Tenggara yang diinisiasi oleh Masyarakat Ketenagalistrikan (MKI) tersebut, Utusan khusus Presiden Republik Indonesia untuk Energi dan Lingkungan Hidup, Hashim Djojohadikusumo mengatakan bahwa di bawah kepemimpinan Presiden Prabowo Subianto, Indonesia akan beralih dari pembangunan energi berbasis bahan bakar fosil menuju energi baru terbarukan (EBT) selaras dengan upaya mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional.

Menurutnya, hingga tahun 2040, Indonesia akan menambah kapasitas pembangkit hingga 100 Gigawatt (GW), dengan 75% di antaranya berasal dari EBT, 5 GW dari nuklir, dan sisanya dari gas.

“Transisi energi bukan hanya soal mengurangi emisi gas rumah kaca, tetapi juga menyeimbangkan pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan keberlanjutan lingkungan. Kami akan mewujudkan energi yang bersih, ramah lingkungan, dan terjangkau, sambil mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi hingga 8%,” lanjut Hashim.

Untuk mencapai target besar tersebut, lanjut Hashim, seluruh ekosistem energi mesti berkolaborasi. Oleh sebab itu, pihaknya mengapresiasi langkah konkret penyelenggaraan Electricity Connect 2024.

“Saya berharap acara Electricity Connect ini terus berlanjut dengan kolaborasi yang lebih kuat, memastikan bahwa generasi mendatang dapat menikmati masa depan yang lebih baik dari pada kita,” ungkapnya.

Wakil Menteri Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM), Yuliot Tanjung mengatakan, Electricity Connect 2024 merupakan _event_ yang sangat penting untuk melihat tantangan ke depan dalam menyediakan energi yang cukup bagi pembangunan dan masyarakat di Indonesia.

“Ini (Electricity Connect 2024) merupakan event yang sangat penting dan merupakan kolaborasi bagaimana kita melihat tantangan ke depan untuk bisa menyediakan energi yang cukup bagi pembangunan dan kebutuhan masyarakat,” kata Yuliot.

Dirinya berharap melalui kolaborasi menuju transisi energi yang terjalin dalam agenda Electricity Connect 2024 dapat memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat secara global.

“Tentu dengan adanya kolaborasi yang sudah dilakukan akan membawa kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat. Bukan hanya masyarakat Indonesia, tetapi masyarakat dunia secara keseluruhan,” jelas Yuliot.

Senada dengan hal tersebut, Direktur Utama PLN, Darmawan Prasodjo mengatakan, PLN mendukung penuh langkah pemerintah untuk menjalankan transisi energi di Tanah Air dengan semangat yang kolaboratif.

“Kami siap merancang ekosistem yang kondusif untuk berkolaborasi, kondusif untuk berinvestasi, sehingga semua pelaku usaha dapat berkembang bersama-sama dan saling mendukung,” ujar Darmawan.

Darmawan menambahkan, Electricity Connect 2024 menjadi forum strategis untuk mempertemukan gagasan, teknologi, dan solusi inovatif dalam menghadapi tantangan transisi energi ke depan.

“Kami melihat acara ini sebagai momentum luar biasa yang memperkuat kepercayaan diri kita semua. Seluruh kekuatan di sektor kelistrikan kini bersatu untuk menghadapi tantangan masa depan dan mencapai tujuan bersama,” kata Darmawan.

Dalam kesempatan yamg sama, Ketua Umum Masyarakat Ketenagalistrikan Indonesia (MKI), Evy Haryadi menjabarkan bahwa Electricity Connect 2024 menghadirkan 168 perusahaan dari dalam dan luar negeri. Para perusahaan ini akan memperkenalkan berbagai teknologi dalam energi baru dan terbarukan, digitalisasi ketenagalistrikan, serta beragam solusi yang berorientasi pada upaya _net zero emissions_.

Selain itu, agenda ini juga mengundang 110 pembicara yang kompeten di bidangnya dengan perkiraan pengunjung yang mencapai 15.000 orang. Dengan skema tersebut, Electricity Connect 2024 diharapkan dapat menjadi pendorong utama dalam investasi, pembangunan sumber daya manusia, dan inovasi teknologi menuju masa depan energi yang berkelanjutan.

“Dengan menggabungkan kekuatan dan ide dari berbagai pihak, kami optimistis acara ini akan melahirkan banyak inspirasi dan kesepakatan bisnis,” pungkas Evy.
