Dukung Pengembangan Pendidikan, YBM PLN Gorontalo Salurkan Bantuan Pembangunan Ruang Kelas

Manado, VivaSulut.com — Yayasan Baitul Maal (YBM) PLN Gorontalo kembali menunjukkan komitmennya dalam mendukung kemajuan pendidikan di wilayah Gorontalo. Kali ini, YBM PLN menyalurkan bantuan untuk penyelesaian pembangunan satu unit ruang kelas baru di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta (MIS) Al-Magfirah, sebuah sekolah dasar yang terletak di Kecamatan Tolangohula, Kabupaten Gorontalo, Rabu (20/11/2024).

Kepala Sekolah MIS Al-Magfirah, Hariyati Domili, mengungkapkan rasa syukur atas bantuan yang diterima. Menurutnya, ruang kelas baru ini akan sangat bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yang diberikan kepada para siswa.

“Kami sangat bersyukur atas bantuan pembangunan ruang kelas ini. Dengan adanya fasilitas ruang kelas baru, semoga dapat memotivasi para siswa untuk lebih semangat meraih prestasi,” ungkap Hariyati.

General Manager PLN Unit Induk Distribusi (UID) Sulawesi Utara, Tengah, dan Gorontalo (Suluttenggo), Atmoko Basuki, menyampaikan bahwa program ini adalah bentuk kontribusi PLN dalam pembangunan di Sektor Pendidikan.

“Bantuan ruang kelas baru untuk MIS Al-Magfirah adalah wujud nyata dari kepedulian insan PLN terhadap generasi penerus bangsa. melalui program YBM kami berharap fasilitas ini dapat memberikan manfaat besar bagi para siswa untuk belajar lebih nyaman dan meraih prestasi terbaik. Investasi dalam pendidikan adalah fondasi penting untuk mendorong pembangunan daerah” ungkap Basuki.

Bantuan ini diserahkan langsung oleh Ketua YBM PLN, Nazaruddin Junus, didampingi oleh amil YBM PLN Gorontalo, Boby Tahir, pada Kamis, 14 November 2024, kepada pihak sekolah MIS Al-Magfirah.

Nazaruddin menjelaskan bahwa bantuan ini merupakan bagian dari program sosial YBM PLN untuk mendukung sekolah-sekolah yang memerlukan fasilitas layak guna menunjang kegiatan belajar-mengajar. “Semoga dengan bantuan dari YBM PLN, pembangunan ruang kelas yang baru ini siswa-siswi dapat belajar dengan lebih semangat dan nyaman,” ujar Nazaruddin dalam sambutannya.

Ia juga menegaskan bahwa bantuan ini merupakan amanah dari zakat penghasilan seluruh pegawai PLN yang dipotong setiap bulan dan dikelola oleh YBM PLN.

Selain mendukung sektor pendidikan, PLN juga terus memaksimalkan layanan kelistrikan bagi masyarakat melalui aplikasi PLN Mobile. Aplikasi ini memudahkan pelanggan untuk mengakses berbagai layanan, seperti pasang baru, tambah daya, pembayaran tagihan, pembelian token listrik, hingga pengaduan gangguan kelistrikan. PLN Mobile dapat diunduh melalui Playstore atau Appstore.
