Tokoh Agama Serukan APH Netral di Pilkada Bitung

Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Ratusan tokoh agama menyerukan Aparat Penegak Hukum (APH) betul-betul bersikap netral di Pilkada Kota Bitung.

Seruan itu disampaikan tokoh agama saat menghadiri Rapat Koordinasi Peran Strategis Tokoh Enam Agama dalam Menjadikan Pilkada Bitung yang Aman dan Damai Tanpa Hoax dan Ujaran Kebencian serta Media Gathering Peran Pers dalam Menyajikan Berita yang Independen, Valid dan Menyejukkan, Jumat (15/11/2024).

Kegiatan itu digelar KPU Kota Bitung dan menghadirkan Kepala Seksi Perdata dan Tata Usaha Negara (Datun) Kejaksaan Negeri Kota Bitung, Natalia Rungkat, Kabag Ops Polres Bitung, Kompol Karel Tangai dan perwakilan Kodim 1310/Bitung sebagai narasumber.

Salah satu tokoh agama, Pendeta Nochrita Umboh meminta APH benar-benar netral di Pilkada Kota Bitung. Karena menurutnya, saat ini santer beredar indikasi keberpihakan APH terhadap salah satu pasangan calon (Paslon).

“Kami berharap, di mement ini atau di setiap kesempatan, APH memberikan pernyataan tegas tidak berpihak dan benar benar netral dalam Pilkada 2024,” kata Nochrita.

Ketua Wilayah Bitung VI juga menyampaikan, saat ini tokoh-tokoh agama berupaya agar jemaat dan jamaah tidak terpecah hanya karena beda pilihan. Dan, upaya itu sangat terganggu dengan isu-isu keberpihakan APH ke salah satu Paslon.

“Karena di tengah masyarakat sekarang sudah banyak informasi bahwa aparat berbaju coklat dan hijau diduga terlibat mendukung salah satu Paslon. Dan, kami sudah sampaikan kepada jemaat, agar tidak terpancing dengan informasi yang belum bisa dipastikan kebenarannya. Oleh sebab itu, kami meminta seluruh APH memberikan pernyataan sikap tegas soal netralitas itu, agar masyarakat juga bisa tenang,” katanya.

Dirinya mewakili ratusan tokoh agama Kota Bitung menyatakan, peran tokoh agama di Kota Bitung tidak perlu diragukan sampai saat ini soal membantu aparat menjaga keamanan. Pihaknya setiap saat berupaya mencari cara bagaimana cara meredam konflik horizontal di tengah masyarakat.

“Kalau peran kami para tokoh agama untuk menjaga situasi tetap kondusif tidak perlu diragukan lagi, role model kami itu bapak moderasi beragama Penatua Maurits Mantiri. Berkat kepemimpinan Bapak Penatua Maurits Mantiri sebagai Wali Kota, tokoh agama bisa menjadi garda terdepan menjaga agar Kota Bitung tetap aman dan damai sampai hari ini,” tegasnya.

Tokoh agama lainnya, Harsono Muhamad juga merasa geram dengan adanya indikasi ketidknetralan para APH pada Pilkada Kota Bitung 2024.

Menurut tokoh muda Islam ini, seharusnya dalam menghadapi pesta demokrasi Pilkada seperti saat ini, aparat kepolisian menjaga keamanan dan kondusifitas. Bukan justru memperkeruh situasi yang bisa berujung konflik.

“Bapak Maurits Mantiri orang yang cinta damai. Dia manusia paling sabar, meskipun dicaci, dia hanya tersenyum. Tapi tiba-tiba dengar kabar beliau ditetapkan tersangka,” kata Harsono.

Menanggapi seruan itu, Natalia menyatakan, Kejaksaan Negeri Kota Bitung dalam setiap kesempatakan selalu memberikan pernyataan soal netralitas institusi mereka.

“Kalau kami Kejaksaan, jangan diragukan lagi soal netralitas di Pilkada dan itu selalu kami sampaikan di hadapan masyarakat,” kata Natalia.
