Dicintai Masyarakat, Joune Ganda Raih Gelar Adat Dewan Kehormatan Suku Bajo

Bupati Joune Ganda didampingi Wakil Bupati Kevin Lotulung, dalam penganugerahan gelar adat dari Suku Bajo, Kamis (14/11/2024).

Minut, VivaSulut.com – Kepercayaan tinggi diberikan Suku Bajo Minut (Minahasa Utara) kepada Bupati Minut definitif Joune Ganda.

Joune Ganda yang kini kembali bertarung dalam Pemilihan Bupati Minut periode 2024-2029, mendapat gelar adat Dewan Kehormatan Danakanke Suku Bajo Minut, Kamis,(14/11/2024) di Bunging Gusoang Pote (Pasir Putih) Desa Nain Pulau Bagu.

Penyematan gelar adat oleh dewan kehormatan Danakanke tersebut diberikan kepada Joune Ganda karena Suku Bajo di Minut menilai bahwa ia layak memimpin Kabupaten Minut untuk 2 periode.

Ketua Adat Suku Bajo, Fildani Pitola, mengatakan dipilihnya Joune Ganda dianggap bisa memimpin Minut terlebih khusus warga Desa Nain yang di dalamnya terdapat Suku Bajo, Siau dan Sangihe.

“Kami menaruh harapan besar kepada Joune Ganda, untuk memimpin Minut, terlebih khusus dapat memimpin suku Bajo, mengayomi bahkan ikut melindungi Suku Bajo di Minut,” ujar Fildani Pitola yang juga Ketua Posbi (Perkumpulan Suku Samah Bajo Idonesia) Sulut.

Penganugerahan gelar adat ini ditandai dengan dikenakannya, baju adat Bajo oleh Ketua Adat Bajo Fildani Pitola kepada Joune Ganda.

Pitola menjelaskan, makna dari baju adat yang terdiri dari ‘Bidang Pasirip’ atau ‘Kain Miring’ adalah untuk merangkul masyarakat Minahasa Utara.

Sigar atau kopiah merupakan kapal untuk memuat masyarakat Minut untuk menuju satu tujuan yang pasti.

Sedangkan selendang atau tongkat kehormatan bermakna untuk menjaga kearifan lokal Suku Bajo untuk memimpin Minut.

“Baju adat Bajo ini memiliki makna yang sangat dalam bagi kami, dimana kami mendambakan Joune Ganda sebagai tokoh adat Bajo dapat membawa kami lebih maju dan sejahtera,” ujar Pitola didampingi tokoh adat penasehat  Arsidin Djamada.

Bupati Minut periode 2008-2016 Sompie Singal ikut mendukung Joune Ganda dan Kevin Lotulung.

Proses penganugerahan gelar adat ini ikut disaksikan Wakil Bupati Minut Kevin Lotulung, serta sejumlah tokoh masyarakat Bumi Tonsea, yaitu Sompie Singal dan Sarhan Antili.

Sebagai informasi, gelar adat Danakanke ini merupakan gelar adat kedua yang diterima Joune Ganda.

Sebelumnya ia mendapat gelar adat Tonsea sebagai Tonaas Wangko Minaesa Amian, yaktu gelar yang diberikan oleh Pakasaan Makasiow Paimpulan Ne Tonsea dalam ritual adat “Paimpuluan Ne Tonsea”.
