Akhir Pelarian Buron Penganiayaan di Wangurer Bitung

Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Upaya pelarian GT (38) menghindari Polisi setelah melakukan penganiayaan menggunakan senjata tajam di Kelurahan Wangurer Barat Kecamatan Mandidir, berakhir.

Pemuda Kelurahan Wangurer Barat ini berhasil ditangkap Tim Resmob Polsek Maesa setelah buron 48 hari di wilayah Kabupaten Minahasa Tenggara, Jumat (8/11/2024).

GT dilaporkan menganiaya seorang pria, Santoni Larangahen menggunakan senjata tajam jenis samurai pada 27 September 2024 lalu.

Menurut Kasie Humas Polres Bitung, Iptu Abdul Natip Anggai, usai menganiaya korban, GT langsung melarikan diri. Upaya pencarian GT dilakukan, namun tak membuahkan hasil.

“Tim Resmob Polsek Maesa terus mencari keberadaan terduga pelaku dan mendapat informasi jika ia bersembunyi di wilayah Kabupaten Minahasa Tenggara,” kata Abdul.

Berdasarkan informasi itu, kata Abdul, Tim Resmob Polsek Maesa berkolaborasi dengan Polsek Tombatu Polres Mitra untuk memastikan keberadaan GT serta menangkapnya.

Dan benar saja, GT selama ini bersembunyi di rumah salah satu warga di Desa Malompar Satu Kecamatan Tombatu Timur.

“Tim melakukan pengepungan dan harus dilakukan tindakan tegas terukur di kaki sebelah kiri, dikarenakan GT saat akan ditangkap membawa senjata tajam,” katanya.

Tidak hanya membawa senjata tajam, GT juga berupaya untuk melarikan diri saat dikepung, sehingga harus dilumpuhkan.

“Terduga pelaku sudah berada di Polsek Maesa untuk menjalani proses hukum,” katanya.
