Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Apel gabungan dalam rangka latihan Dalmas yang digelar Polres Bitung dengan personil TNI di Lapangan Sari Cakalang Kelurahan Madidir Weru Kecamatan Madidir menuai kontraversi, Selasa (29/10/2024).
Apel itu dipimpin Kapolres Bitung, AKBP Albert Zai SIK melibatkan 160 personil gabungan TNI/Polri dalam rangka kesiapan pengamanan Pemilukada serentak pemilihan Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Sulawesi Utara serta Walikota dan Wakil Walikota Bitung tahun 2024.
Adapun lapangan Sari Cakalang merupakan kompleks rumah salah satu calon petahana, Hengky Honandar. Dan biasanya Polres jelang hajatan Pemilu kerab menggelar latihan di Stadion Duasudara atau depan Kantor Wali Kota seperti saat Pilpres beberapa waktu lalu.
Kapolres sendiri tak menampik jika kegiatan dalam rangka pengamanan Pilkada itu digelar di Lapangan Sari Cakalang kendati kerap dijadikan sebagai lokasi kegiatan pemenangan Paslon nomor urut 2.
“Saya rasa tempat tidak masalah bro. Polisi dan tentara (TNI,red) hanya latihan bukan ngapa-ngapain,” kata Albert via grup WhatsApp.
Alasan memilih Lapangan Sari Cakalang, kata Albert, tempatnya luas dan kendaraan ukuran water canon mudah bermanuver pada saat latihan.
Sedangkan GOR atau Stadion Duasudara, kata dia, tidak memadai dimasuki water canon
“Di GOR itu ada pembatas antara tempat lari dan lapangan bolanya. Jangan sampai kita malah merusak,” katanya.

Today, I went to the beach with my kids.
