Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Dukungan terhadap pasangan calon (Paslon) Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Bitung, Geraldi Mantiri-Erwin Wurangian terus bertambah.
Kali ini, dukungan datang dari Ketua PAC Partia Gerindra Kecamatan Lembeh Utara, Anselmus Kalangit yang menyatakan berbalik arah mendukung Paslon Geraldi-Erwin.
Dukungan itu dinyatakan di sela-sela kampanye Geraldi-Erwin di Pulau Lembeh, Selasa (29/10/2024).
Anselmus menyatakan dukungan disaat Geraldi-Erwin bersilaturahmi ke rumahnya di Kelurahan Nusu Kecamatan Lembeh Utara.
Ia menyatakan bergabung mendukung Geraldi-Erwin karena tertarik dengan visi-misi dan program yang disampaikan langsung kepada masyarakat.
Selain itu, ia juga terkesan dengan perhatian yang diberikan Paslon terhadap anaknya ketika seminggu dirawat di rumah sakit karena sakit.
“Waktu itu Pak Erwin datang melihat langsung keadaan anak kami. Sehingga kami memutuskan mendukung mereka sebagai calon Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Bitung,” kata Anselmus.
Dirinya menambahkan, sudah melepas statusnya sebagai Ketua PAC Gerindra Kecamatan Lembeh Utara pasca menyatakan dukungan ke Geraldi-Erwin.
“Saya bersama keluarga akan berjuang memenangkan Geraldi-Erwin dan terima kasih atas kunjungan silahturahmi ke rumah kami,” katanya.
Paslon nomor urut 1 ini menggelar kampanye sebanyak enam titik di Kecamatan Lembeh Utara.
Keberduanya bergantian menyampaikan ide pokok, gagasan yang tertuang dalam visi, misi dan program sebagai Paslon kepala daerah Kota Bitung.
Dalam agenda kampanye itu, Geraldi-Erwin meresmikan Posko pemenangan di Kelurahan Papusungan.
