Manado, VivaSulut.com — Dalam rangka menyambut Hari Listrik Nasional (HLN) ke-79, PLN Unit Induk Distribusi (UID) Sulawesi Utara, Tengah, dan Gorontalo melakukan penyalaan listrik gratis serentak di Wilayah UID Sulutenggo sebanyak 125 pelanggan dalam program Light Up The Dream.
Light Up The Dream adalah program penyambungan listrik gratis yang berasal dari donasi Pegawai PLN dan juga sebagai wujud nyata komitmen dan kolaborasi insan PLN dalam mewujudkan energi berkeadilan sekaligus mendukung upaya pemerintah meningkatkan Rasio Elektrifikasi (RE) agar seluruh masyarakat dapat mengakses listrik serta bertujuan untuk mewujudkan mimpi keluarga prasejahtera untuk mendapatkan sambungan listrik baru.
Program tersebut mendapat respon yang sangat baik dari masyarakat, khususnya para penerima bantuan. Hal tersebut diungkapkan salah satu penerima bantuan program ini, Leni Kalundas, 64 Tahun, warga desa Tanah Putih, Kecamatan Likupang Barat, Kabupaten Minahasa Utara sangat terharu dengan program tersebut.
Dirinya membeberkan bahwa sejak tahun 1979 sampai sekarang rumahnya belum terpasang Listrik, dan selama 6 tahun belakangan ini hanya mendapatkan penerangan dari tetangga, kini bisa menikmati listrik sendiri berkat sambung Listrik gratis dari PLN dengan daya 900 VA.
Leni Kalundas yang hadir dalam kegiatan simbolis penyalaan Listrik secara nasional melalui media zoom, menyampaikan rasa haru dan ucapan terima kasih kepada PLN yang terlah memberikan penyambungan Listrik gratis kepadanya.
“Terima kasih banyak kepada PLN yang sudah memberikan bantuan kepada kami, hari ini saya bersyukur dan juga berterima kasih kepada PLN karena mimpi saya selama puluhan tahun terjawab dengan bisa menikmati listrik bersama keluarga di rumah kami,” ucap Leni.
General Manager PLN UID Sulutenggo, Atmoko Basuki, mengatakan bahwa Light Up The Dream awalnya diinisiasi oleh salah satu unit PLN, yang kemudian menjalar dan menginspirasi unit-unit lain.
“Program yang melibatkan pegawai PLN ini telah berkontribusi dan memberikan dampak positif dalam kehidupan masyarakat dengan mewujudkan energi yang berkeadilan dan pemerataan akses listrik,” Tutur Atmoko.
Atmoko menambahkan bahwa listrik telah menjadi kebutuhan primer masyarakat saat ini, sehingga dirinya berharap semoga kehadiran program ini akan memberikan sumbangsih yang berarti khususnya bagi yang belum menikmati Listrik agar bisa hidup lebih sejatrah.
“Setiap sambungan listrik membawa kisah baru dan harapan. Dengan cahaya yang kini menerangi rumah-rumah, keluarga-keluarga penerima bantuan tidak hanya dapat merencanakan masa depan yang lebih cerah, tetapi juga memupuk mimpi-mimpi baru,” sambung Atmoko.
Program Light Up The Dream menjadi simbol nyata komitmen PLN dalam menciptakan keadilan sosial dan pemerataan akses energi khususnya di wilayah Suluttenggo.
Acara penyalaan listrik dalam program Light Up The Dream turut dihadiri oleh Camat Likupang Barat, Maykel Mario Parengkuan S.STP, dan Hukum Tua Desa Tanah Putih, Ramsey Kakondo, S.Sos.
PLN juga telah menyediakan Aplikasi PLN Mobile yang dapat diunduh melalui Playstore atau Appstore. Untuk mengakses layanan kelistrikan lainnya seperti pasang baru, tambah daya, pembelian token listrik dapat juga melalui Aplikasi ini, dengan PLN Mobile, semua makin mudah.
