Maurits Mantiri Terima Penghargaan Indeks Statistik Pembangunan Sepuluh Terbaik se-Indonesia

Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Wali Kota Bitung, Maurits Mantiri menerima pengharga Indeks Statistik Pembangunan sepuluh besar terbaik se-Indonesia, Senin (21/10/2024).

Penghargaan itu diserahkan Inspektur Badan Pusat Statitik RI, Dadang Herdiwan dalam Rapat Koordinasi Daerah ST2023 BPS se-Sulawesi Utara di Manado Tateli Hotel.

Pemkot Bitung masuk sepuluh besar terbaik berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Badan Pusat Statistik Republik Indonesia Nomor: 605 tahun 2004 tentang Hasil Evaluasi Penyelengaraan Statistik Sektoral Pada Instansi Pusat dan Instansi Daerah 2024.

Mengacu ke surat itu, Kota Bitung berhasil meraih nilai tertinggi di Luar Pulau Jawa atas Penilaian kepada 500 Kabupaten dan Kota se-Indonesia.

“Indeks Pembangunan Statistik adalah untuk mengukur capaian Penyelenggaraan Satu Data Indonesia (SDI) dan Data Statistik Sektoral baik di Kementerian/Lembaga/Pemerintah Daerah. Selain IPS juga dijadikan dasar melakukan pemantauan Evaluasi Penyelenggaraan Statistik Sektoral,” jelas Dadang.

Maurits usai menerima penghargaan mengatakan bahwa data itu sangat penting dalam membantu arah pembangunan yang akan dilaksanakan Pemkot Bitung.

“Dengan satu data yang kita miliki, pembangunan Kota Bitung bisa lebih terarah dan tepat sasaran. Seperti misalnya, kita akan memberikan bantuan kepada masyarakat, kita sudah punya data penerima, sehingga sasarannya pasti akan tepat,” jelas Maurits.
