Kampanye Hujan-hujanan, Geraldi – Erwin Ikut Bergoyang di Bitung Tengah Maesa

Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Hujan deras tak menjadi penghalang bagi ratusan pendukung pasangan calon (Paslon) Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Bitung, Geraldi Mantiri-Erwin Wurangian menghadiri kampanye, Sabtu (19/10/2024).

Kampanye dengan tajuk rapat umum terbatas tingkat kecamatan digelar di Kelurahan Bitung Tengah Kecamatan Maesa diikuti ratusan warga yang rela hujan-hujanan.

Melihat antusias warga, Geraldi-Erwin juga ikut bergoyang bersama warga di tengah guyuran hujan deras. Paslon nomor urut 1 ini mengaku bangga dengan warga yang tak bergeming kendati hujan deras.

“Atas nama Geraldi-Erwin, kami menyampaikan apresiasi dan terima kasih tak terhingag kepada bapak dan ibu yang rela basah-basahan untuk ikut kampanye,” kata Geraldi.

Geraldi mengajak warga tetap bersyukur, karena hujan adalah berkat dari Tuhan.

“Mari kita amini bersama, ini adalah hujan berkat bagi kita semua,” katanya.

Ia juga menyampaikan soal kampanye adalah ajang bagi Paslon untuk menyampaikan pendidikan politik lewat pemaparan visi dan misi serta program.

“Kampanye bukan ajang gimik agar masyarakat menjadi simpati. Kampanye ajang bertemu dan menyampaikan langsung kepada masyarakat apa yang menjadi visi dan misi serta program. Dengan demikian masyarakat bisa menilai dan merekam apa yang disampaikan kemudian ditagih saat terpilih nanti,” katanya.

Erwin dalam orasinya menjabarkan tentang visi dan misi serta program dari Paslon nomor urut 1. Ia menyatakan, tagline Geraldi-Erwin adalah Inovasi Berkelanjutan dengan berbagai program unggulan pro masyarakat.

Salah satu program unggulan itu adalah Program Pembangunan Berbasis Kelurahan. Salah satu program ini adalah penyaluran dana kelurahan.

“Penyaluran dana kelurahan ini akan kita upayakan lebih efektif dengan cara memberikan keleluasan kepada kelurahan untuk mengatur sendiri. Ini penting karena apa yang menjadi kebutuhan kelurahan itu, ya kelurahan itu sendiri yang tahu. Jadi nantinya ada musyawarah kelurahan sebagai wadah untuk memutuskan pemanfaatan dana kelurahan itu,” jelas Erwin.

Ia memastikan pembangunan daerah berbasis kelurahan akan direalisasikan jika nanti Geraldi-Erwin terpilih. Ia dan Geraldi akan memprioritaskan hal tersebut karena keduanya menaruh perhatian serius terhadap pengembangan kelurahan.

Dan komitmen ini sudah mulai ditunjukan dari sekarang, dibuktikan dengan pelaksanaan kampanye blusukan di tiap-tiap kelurahan.

“Kami memanfaatkan masa kampanye ini untuk mendengar langsung aspirasi masyarakat sekaligus menyampaikan apa yang menjadi cita-cita kami. Makanya kami memilih kampanye blusukan dan diologis di setiap kelurahan,” katanya.

Hadir juga dalam kampanye itu, Ketua Tim Kampanye Geraldi-Erwin, Fabian Kaloh, anggota DPRD Sulut, Cindy Wurangian serta sejumlah politisi PDI Perjuangan dan Partai Golkar, diantaranya Aldo Nova Ratungalo, Vivi Ganap, Nabsar Badoa, Rafika Papente, Maikel Walewangko, Cherry Mamesah, Melia Moesrin dan Eva Sumolang.
