Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Pasangan calon (Paslon) Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Bitung, Hengky Honandar-Randito Maringka diprediksi bakal lebih mengusai debat kedua Pilkada Bitung 2024.
Debat kedua bakal digelar KPU pada Selasa (22/10/2024) di Kantor DPRD Kota Bitung.
Debat kedua mengangkat tema infrastruktur dan tata ruang, kependudukan, perikanan dan kelautan, korupsi, serta reformasi birokrasi.
Menurut aktivis muda Kota Bitung, Arham Lakue, Paslon nomor urut 2 Hengky-Randito bakal mengusai tema debat yang disiapkan KPU Kota Bitung.
“Melihat dari materi debat, saya prediksi Paslon 2 yang akan unggul karena meteri debat mereka kuasai,” kata Arham, Sabtu (19/10/2024).
Arham menjelaskan, materi perikanan dan kelautan pasti sangat dikuasia oleh Paslon Hengky-Randito. Pasalnya, keduanya berkecimpung di dunia bisnis perikanan sehingga tahu betul bagaimana kondisi perikanan dan kelautan Kota Bitung.
Materi lainnya, yakni infrastruktur dan tata ruang, kependudukan serta reformasi birokrasi, kata Arham, pasti dikuasai Paslon 2. Mengingat Hengky yang bertatus petahana dan masih menjabat Wakil Wali Kota Bitung paham betul dengan ketiga materi debat itu.
“Pak hengky pasti lebih paham apa itu reformasi birokrasi karena sementara duduk di pemerintahan. Buktinya, hampir semua pelantikan pejabat di Pemkot Bitung beliau yang pimpin. Jadi beliau tahulah soal itu,” katanya.
Yang menarik, lanjutnya, adalah meteri korupsi. Arham menilai, meteri ini yang akan ditunggu-tunggu masyarakat dan dipastikan Paslon 2 akan tetap mengusai.
“Materi korupsi, saya pikir ini sub tema yang seksi. Ini pasti jadi salah satu perhatian publik dalam debat nanti, jadi menarik untuk melihat siapa yang lebih unggul di sub tema ini,” katanya.
