Kampanye di Girian, Paslon Geraldi – Erwin Bicara Konsistensi Pemimpin

Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Pasangan calon (Paslon) Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Bitung, Geraldi Mantiri-Erwin Wurangian menyambangi warga Kelurahan Girian Atas dan Kelurahan Bawah Kecamatan Girian, Rabu (16/10/2024).

Paslon nomor urut 1 ini secara bergantian memaparkan visi, misi dan program yang ditawarkan jika nantinya diberi kepercayaan memimpin Kota Bitung.

Hal menarik yang disampaikan kedua Paslon adalah konsistensi pemimpin dalam menjalankan program serta merealisasikan apa yang dijanjikan saat kampanye.

Konsistensi pemimpin ini ditanyakan salah satu warga soal komitmen Paslon Geraldi-Erwin menjalankan program, jangan sampai hanya sebatas janji manis saat kampanye.

“Pemimpin itu dinilai dari konsistensinya. Kami, Paslon Geraldi-Erwin menyampaikan visi-misi, ide gagasan dan program disetiap kampanye agar supaya ini menjadi dasar pertanggung jawaban kami kepada masyarakat ketika terpilih nantinya,” kata Geraldi.

Untuk itu, kata dia, tahapan kampanye yang diberikan KPU dimanfaatkan sebaik mungkin untuk menyampaikan langsung visi-misi dan program, sekaligus mendengar masukan dari masyarakat.

Termasuk juga program pembangunan berbasis kelurahan serta layanan kesehatan, yakni BPJS bakal dilanjutkan dan ditingkatkan.

“Apa yang nantinya bisa kita pertanggung jawabkan sebagai calon wali kota dan wakil jikalau dikemudian hari ketika kita terpilih kepada masyarakat sedangkan visi-misi saja harus disampaikan oleh orang lain,” katanya.

Erwin dalam orasinya menyampaikan, menjadi seorang pemimpin harus bisa berbicara atau memiliki kemampuan berbicara dan programnya harus pro rakyat.

“Kami, saya dan pak Geraldi dalam kampanye ini sedikit berbeda, kami menyerap dan menerima masukan, keluhan bahkan kritikan dari masyarakat, agar semua ini bisa dijadikan bahan untuk melakukan perbaikan ke depannya,” kata Erwin.

Ia juga menyatakan akan selalu membuka diri untuk dievaluasi oleh masyarakat jika nantinya menjalankan pemerintahan.

“Bukan hanya di ajang kampanye, nanti juga saat terpilih, kami akan selalu membuka diri. Sampaikan jika ada yang kurang atau program kami yang sudah tidak sesuai dengan apa yang kami janjikan,” katanya.
