Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Pasangan calon (Paslon) Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Bitung, Geraldi Mantiri-Erwin Wurangian menyampaikan pentingnya Paslon tahu bicara di depan umum untuk menyampaikan visi dan misi.
Calon pemimpin tahu bicara, menurut Paslon nomor urut 1 ini, adalah hal mendasar sebelum masuk ke penilain berikutnya, yakni tahu bekerja.
Hal itu disampaikan Paslon Geraldi-Erwin saat menggelar kampanye di Kelurahan Tandurusa Kecamatan Aertembaga, Senin (14/10/2024).
“Calon pemimpin harus tahu bicara dan kerja. Bicara berkerja itu nanti ketika terpilih. Saat ini silahkan bapak ibu uji kita dari sisi pemikiran. Uji rekam jejak dan kerjanya kita,” kata Geraldi.
Ajang kampanye, kata Geraldi, adalah waktunya menyampaikan visi misi Paslon dengan cara bertatap muka dan berbicara langsung kepada masyarakat.
Dengan demikian, masyarakat akan tahu apa program dan bagaimana mencari solusi dengan tahu bercara dan itu dibuktikan saat kampanye.
“Analoginya seperti membangun rumah. Kalau saya bukan tukang, kira-kira masyarakat percaya rumah itu akan jadi? Rumah itu akan kuat dan kokoh? Pasti tidak kan?
Makanya kita harus sampaikan kita punya skill dan ahli dalam bidang itu. Kita sudah tahu bagaimana memabngun rumah yang layak,” katanya.
Selain itu, Erwin juga menyampaikan, kampanye selain ajang untuk berbicara, mendengarkan langsung aspirasi masyarakat.
Ia menyampaikan soal Program Kelurahan yakni ujung tombak pelayanan masyarakat ada di kelurahan.
“Makanya kedepan kita akan memperhatikan kesejateraan ASN di Kelurahan, Pala dan RT,” kata Erwin.
“Karena banyak ASN kerja pilih-pilih tempat. Mereka memilih. Yang TPP atau tunjangannya besar. Kalau di kelurahan kecil makanya ASN jarang ada yang mau ditempatkan di kelurahan,” katanya.
Kedepan, jika Geraldi-Erwin terpilih, akan memperbaiki minset berfikir ASN dengan memperhatikan kesejateraan ASN di kelurahan.
“Mulai dari gaji dan tunjangan. Kami akan buat sama kesejahteraannya seperti OPD yang saat ini. Biar ASN tidak yang akan ditempatkan di kelutahan tidak pilih pilih tempat,” katanya.
