Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Pasangan Calon (Paslon) Wli Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Bitung, Geraldi Mantiri-Erwin Wurangian menggelar kampanye di wilayah Kecamatan Aertembaga, Jumat (4/10/2024).
Paslon nomor urut satu ini menggelar kampanye di kelurahan Aertembaga Dua dan disambut antusias oleh warga.
Seperti kampanye-kanpanye sebelumnya, Paslon Geraldi-Erwin lebih fokus menyampaikan visi dan misi serta mendengar masukan dari masyarakat.
Tak ada ujaran kebencian apalagi informasi sesat serta janji uang untuk menjatuhkan Paslon lawan, Geraldi-Erwin lebih ke memberikan pendidikan politik kepada masyarakat.
“Cari pemimpin yang layak dipilih, jangan hanya karena ikut-ikutan, apalagi memilih hanya karena uang. Uji programnya apakah betul-betul realitis atau hanya janji belaka yang sulit diwujudkan,” kata Erwin.
Kriteria pemimpin, kata Erwin, diantarnya harus mampu melakukan lobi-lobi hingga tingkat pusat, mampu berbicara secara langsung kepada masyarakat tanpa harus menggunakan orang lain untuk mewakili menyampaikan.
Politisi Partai Golkar ini juga tidak menampik soal biaya atau coast politik. Menurutnya, Paslon Geraldi-Erwin juga telah mempersiapkan coast politik seperti Paslon lainnya.
“Kami tidak mungkin maju tanpa ada persiapan seperti coast politik. Soalnya jumlahnya, tidak etis kami sampaikan. Intinya Paslon Geraldi-Erwin juga punya dana,” katanya.
Selain itu, ia juga menyampaikan soal program pendidikan, kesehatan dan lapangan pekerjaan. Tiga sektor itu, kata dia akan direalisasikan lewat program pembangunan berbasis kelurahan.
“Kelurahan menjadi ujung tombak program kami jika diberi kepercayaan untuk memimpin kota ini,” katanya.
