Begini Sosok Pendeta Patras Madonsa Cawabup Sangihe, Dimata Mantan Ketua Sinode GMIST Pendeta WB Salindeho

Sangihe, VivaSulut.com—Dalam suasana penuh kenangan, Pdt. W.B. Salindeho, mantan Ketua Sinode Gereja Masehi Injili Sangihe Talaud (GMIST) periode 2006-2016, berbagi pandangannya tentang Pdt. Patras Madonsa, yang kini melangkah ke dunia politik sebagai Calon Wakil Bupati Sangihe. Madonsa berpasangan dengan Jabes Ezar Gaghana untuk Pilkada Sangihe 2024.

Bagi Pdt. Salindeho, sosok Pdt. Madonsa lebih dari sekadar rekan kerja. Keduanya memiliki ikatan moral yang kuat, terutama karena Madonsa pernah menjabat sebagai sekretaris sinode di bawah kepemimpinannya. “Kami memiliki hubungan yang sangat dekat, baik secara profesional maupun pribadi,” kenangnya.

Meskipun kini berdomisili di Siau dan tidak mengikuti secara langsung perkembangan politik di Sangihe, Pdt. Salindeho tetap memberikan dukungan penuh bagi sahabatnya tersebut. “Ini adalah pilihan Pak Madonsa, dan saya bilang, maju terus, pantang mundur,” tegasnya.

Dalam menggambarkan kepribadian Pdt. Madonsa, Salindeho menyebutnya sebagai pemimpin gereja yang sederhana, rendah hati, dan dekat dengan masyarakat. “Beliau sosok yang polos, loyal, dan selalu menjalin hubungan baik dengan jemaat maupun masyarakat,” ujar Salindeho.

Kepemimpinan Pdt. Madonsa selama di sinode, menurut Pdt. Salindeho, telah menunjukkan loyalitas dan dedikasi yang tinggi. “Saya sangat peduli padanya karena selama masa kerja bersama, beliau selalu menunjukkan komitmen yang luar biasa,” lanjutnya.

Selain karakter yang kuat, Salindeho juga melihat adanya daya tarik tersendiri dalam diri Pdt. Madonsa yang dapat memikat hati para pemilih di Sangihe. “Sikap dan kesederhanaannya mungkin akan menjadi pesona tersendiri bagi para pemilih di sana,” tutupnya dengan penuh optimisme. (*)
