Pilkada Bitung 2024, Ini Makna Nomor Urut 1 Bagi Geraldi – Erwin

Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Pasangan calon (Paslon) Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Bitung, Geraldi Mantiri-Erwin Wurangian bersyukur mendapat nomor urut 1 sebagai peserta Pilkada 2024, Senin (23/9/2024).

Menurut keduanya, nomor urut 1 memiliki makna positif bagi Geraldi-Erwin serta Parpol dan pendukung di Pilkada 2024.

Geraldi menampaikan, sejatinya dirinya dan Erwin tidak membeda-bedakan nomor mana yang ingin didapat. Sejak awal keduanya mengalir saja dan menyerahkan proses pengundian nomor urut berjalan apa adanya.

Pun demikian, begitu memastikan memperoleh nomor urut 1, keduanya pun menyambut antusias hasil tersebut. Mereka bersyukur karena setiap nomor pasti memiliki makna tergantung interpretasi masing-masing.

“Dan bagi kami nomor 1 ini dapat diartikan sebagai persatuan Indonesia. Kebetulan masyarakat Kota Bitung terdiri dari suku, agama dan golongan yang berbeda-beda, maka perlu dipersatukan sebagai modal besar dalam membangun daerah. Jadi poinnya keberagaman atau perbedaan tidak harus disamakan, tapi harus dipersatukan untuk kepentingan semua pihak,” kata Geraldi.

Pernyataan Geraldi diamini Erwin. Ia menyebut angka 1 dapat diartikan sebagai lambang persatuan masyarakat Kota Bitung yang berbeda-beda.

“Satu untuk semua. Kami berdua bersatu untuk kepentingan semua masyarakat Kota Bitung. Kira-kira begitu artinya,” kata Erwin.

Dalam pelaksanaan kampanye maupun tahapan Pilkada Kota Bitung secara keseluruhan, Erwin berharap dua kubu pasangan calon bisa menghadirkan politik yang riang gembira dan jauh dari penyebaran ujaran kebencian, hoax serta saling fitnah.

“Jauhi penyebaran black campaign, hoax, fitnah dan bully. Mari kita kedepankan cara berpolitik yang santun dan saling menghormati, agar supaya kita bisa memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat,” katanya.
