Data Kemenparekraf RI, Tingkat Kunjungan Wisatawan ke Likupang yang Terbanyak dari DPSP Lainnya

Bupati Minut Joune Ganda bersama istri Rizya Ganda-Davega dan sejumlah kepala daerah asal Sulut menghadiri Discovery North Sulawesi yang dibuka langsung Menparekraf RI, Sandiaga Uno, di Hotel Borobudur, Jumat (6/9/2024).

Jakarta, VivaSulut.com – Kerja keras Pemerintah Provinsi Sulawesi Utara dan Kabupaten Minahasa Utara (Minut) untuk kemajuan pariwisata di Likupang, berbuah manis.

Perlahan tapi pasti pembangunan fasilitas publik terus dilakukan, disertai promosi yang tidak berhenti.

Peran Gubernur Olly Dondokambey dan Wakil Gubernur Steven Kandouw yang membuka akses penerbangan internasional, ditambah gerak cepat serta lobi-lobi Bupati Joune Ganda dan Wakil Bupati Kevin Lotulung untuk mendatangkan event internasional, rupanya membuat Likupang, mendapat apresiasi di tingkat nasional.

Kerja keras itu terbukti lewat data di Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Kemenparekraf) RI, dimana Likupang, Sulawesi Utara mencapai angkat kunjungan wisatawan tertinggi dibanding 4 daerah lain yang tergabung dalam Daerah Pariwisata Super Prioritas (DPSP).

“Saya ingin memberikan informasi ke Pak Gub dan jajaran bahwa Likupang membukukan peningkatan kunjungan wisatawan tertinggi, dari lima wilayah destinasi super prioritas lainnya untuk tahun 2023,” ujar Menteri Parekraf Sandiaga Uno, saat membuka Discovery North Sulawesi yang dilaksanakan di Hotel Borobudur Jakarta, Jumat (6/9/2024).

Dalam pembukaan tersebut, hadir Gubernur Sulut Olly Dondokambey dan Wakil Gubernur, Steven Kandouw juga Dubes Indonesia Untuk Tiongkok, Menteri Luar Negeri Latvia, Baiba Braze, Sekprov Sulut Steve Kepel, Bupati Minut Joune Ganda dan istri Rizya Ganda Davega, Wakil Bupati Kevin Lotulung dan istri Kristi Lotulung Arina serta jajaran pemerintah provinsi dan kabupaten kota se-Sulut.

Sementara dalam sambutan Gubernur Olly Dondokambey menyampaikan sangatlah bersyukur karena bisa berkumpul disini dan acara pembukaan ini bisa berlangsung dengan baik.

“Tahun lalu juga dilaksanakan disini dan di Discover North Sulawesi begitu banyak kekayaan keberagaman budaya serta potensi pariwisata yang ada di Sulut ditampilkan,” kata Olly Dondokambey.

“Kami bersyukur Menteri Pariwisata Dan Ekonomi Kreatif, Sandiaga Uno mendukung penuh kegiatan ini,” tambahnya.

Sebagai informasi, kegiatan Discover North Sulawesi di Hotel Borobudur Jakarta akan berlangsung mulai 6-30 September 2024.
