“Tugas wakil wali kota itu tidak lebih hanya membantu wali kota. Jadi, bukan mengambil alih apalagi merasa sebagai wali kota,” kata Erwin.

Dengan memahami tupoksi itu, kata politisi Golkar ini, maka harmonisasi wali kota dan wakil wali kota dalam menjalankan pemerintah akan langgeng.

Dirinya juga mengaku, sadar dan paham betul posisinya mendampingi Geraldi. Sehingga nantinya, ia akan tetap memposisikan diri sebagai wakil tanpa harus merampas tugas dan wewenang wali kota.
