Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Pasangan bakal calon Pilkada Kota Bitung 2024, Hengky Honandar-Randito Maringka resmi mendaftar ke KPU, Rabu (28/8/2024).
Diantar partai politik (Parpol) pengusung dan Parpol pendukung, Hengky mendaftar sebagai bakal calon wali kota dan Randito bakal calon wakil wali kota. Keduanya mendaftar sebagai bakal calon pasangan di Pilkada 2024.
Usai KPU menyatakan berkas yang menjadi peryaratan pendaftaran lengkap dan diterima, Hengky-Randito mengklaim jika mereka telah resmi menjadi Paslon untuk maju di Pilkada 2024.
“Bahwa hari kami sudah resmi sebagai pasangan calon. Dan terima kasih kepada KPU yang telah menerima pendaftaran kami,” kata Randito.
Randito juga menyatakan jika dirinya bersama Hengky adalah Paslon pertama yang mendaftar ke KPU.
“Kami juga menyampaikan terima kasih kepada Bawaslu bersama jajaran. Kami berharap Pilkada kali ini menjadi pesta demokrasi yang damai,” katanya.
Sementara itu, Ketua KPU Kota Bitung, Deslie Sumampouw menyatakan Hengky-Randito belum berstatus Paslon karena masih ada tahapan perbaikan dan melengkapi berkas kemudian ditetapkan menjadi Paslon.
“Baru bakal calon, belum Paslon karena masih ada tahapan berikutnya,” kata Deslie.
Deslie juga menyatakan, masih ada beberapa tahapan yang harus dilewati sebelum penetapan Paslon. Sehingga, kata dia, semua yang mendaftar di tahapan ini masih berstatus bakal calon Paslon.
“Jadi sekali lagi, belum ada Paslon saat ini selain bakal calon Paslon,” katanya.
Bakal Paslon Hengky-Randito sendiri diusung Partai Gerindra, Partai NasDem, Partai Demokrat, PAN dan Perindo.
