Tok! MK Ubah Syarat Pilkada, Suara Demokrat Sudah Cukup Mengusung Elly Lasut

Manado, VivaSulut.com – Mengejutkan. Tujuh hari jelang tahapan pendaftaran kepala daerah, Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) mengubah syarat Pilkada 2024.

Dalam sidang di gedung MK, Jakarta Pusat, Selasa (20/8/2024), hakim mengabulkan sebagian gugatan yang diajukan Partai Buruh dan Partai Gelora terhadap UU Pilkada.

Artinya, partai atau gabungan partai politik peserta Pemilu bisa mengajukan calon kepala daerah meski tidak punya kursi DPRD.

Putusan ini memberi keuntungan besar bagi Ketua Partai Demokrat Sulut, Elly Lasut untuk maju di Pemilihan Gubernur Sulawesi Utara atau Pilgub Sulut 2024.

Pada amar putusan MK yang mengubah isi pasal 40 ayat (1) UU Pilkada, menjelaskan salah satu syarat partai politik atau gabungan partai politik peserta pemilu yang dapat mendaftarkan pasangan calon.

Syarat tersebut yaitu, untuk provinsi dengan jumlah penduduk yang termuat pada daftar pemilih tetap sampai dengan 2 juta jiwa, partai politik atau gabungan partai politik peserta pemilu harus memperoleh suara sah paling sedikit 10% di provinsi tersebut.

Sesuai data yang ada, hasil pleno KPU Sulut pada Pemilu 2024, jumlah suara sah Pileg Sulawesi Utara sebanyak 1.533.523 suara dan jumlah suara tidak sah sebesar 108.316 suara.

Artinya, untuk mengusung calon, partai politik ataupun gabungan partai politik wajib memiliki jumlah suara sah minimal 153.352 suara.

Jumlah tersebut telah dilampaui Partai Demokrat, yang memiliki suara sah sebanyak 166.111 suara.

Berikut perolehan suara partai politik sesuai Keputusan Komisi Pemilihan Umum Provinsi Sulawesi Utara Nomor 32 Tahun 2024 tertanggal 10 Maret 2024 tentang Penetapan Hasil Pemilihan Umum Anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Provinsi Sulawesi Utara Tahun 2024.

Partai Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan (PDIP) = 602.019 suara
Partai Golkar = 213.792 suara
Partai Demokrat = 166.111 suara
Partai Nasdem = 161.524 suara
Partai Gerindra = 125.097 suara
Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa (PKB) = 65.779 suara
Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI) = 49.450 suara
Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) = 39.280 suara
Partai Persatuan Indonesia (Perindo) = 37.838 suara

Sebelumnya, Pasal 40 ayat (3) UU Pilkada menjelaskan, bahwa dalam hal Partai Politik atau gabungan Partai Politik mengusulkan pasangan calon menggunakan ketentuan memperoleh paling sedikit 25% dari akumulasi perolehan suara sah sebagaimana dimaksud pada ayat (1), ketentuan itu hanya berlaku untuk Partai Politik yang memperoleh kursi di Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah.

Aturan tersebut membuat Partai Demokrat yang memiliki 6 kursi di DPRD Sulut, masih butuh koalisi untuk mengusung calon bupati.

Namun, dengan adanya perubahan atas putusan MK hari ini, Partai Demokrat kini tak butuh koalisi untuk mengusung calon.

Putusan tersebut disambut Hillary Lasut, putri Elly Lasut yang terpilih sebagai anggota DPR RI dari Partai Demokrat Dapil Sulut.

Dalam unggahan di akun media sosialnya, Hillary menyebutkan bila saat ini pasangan Elly Engelbert Lasut dan Michaela Elsiana Paruntu (E2L – MEP) sudah bisa bertarung di Pilgub Sulut.

“Dengan perolehan suara sah Demokrat Sulut 10.8 perse maka E2L-MEP fix berlayar,” tulis Hillary disambut antusias pendukungnya.
