Dampak Bullying Disentil Maurits Mantiri di Apel Besar Pramuka Bitung

Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Wali Kota Bitung, Maurits Mantiri memimpin Upacara Peringatan Hari Pramuka ke-63 di Lapangan Kantor Wali Kota Bitung, Senin (19/8/2024).

Peringatan Hari Pramuka tahun ini mengangkat tema “Pramuka Berjiwa Pancasila Menjaga NKRI”. Tema ini menunjukkan eksistensi gerakan Pramuka dalam mempersiapkan generasi muda, selalu menjadi garda terdepan untuk membentuk anggota Pramuka yang berjiwa Pancasila serta menjaga keutuhan NKRI.

Wali Kota membacakan sambutan Ketua Kwartir Nasional Gerakan Pramuka menyampaikan, sebagai gerakan yang berjiwa Pancasila, yang dididik dengan pengamalan Tri Satya dan Dasa Darma Pramuka, sangatlah tepat untuk menghadapi berbagai tantangan zaman yang penuh ketidakpastian.

Menurutnya, perkembangan teknologi dan komunikasi yang menjadikan hilangnya batas-batas negara, maraknya judi online yang menerpa generasi muda, aksi bullying, kasus narkoba, pornografi, hingga budaya asing yang telah menggerus semangat gotong royong dan nasionalisme generasi muda.

“Permasalahan tersebut dapat dihadapi dengan cara memberikan pendidikan life skill, soft skill, hard skill, serta dilengkapi dengan kecerdasan sesosif, yaitu kecerdasan spiritual, emosional, sosial, intelektual, dan fisik, yang menjadi postur ideal seorang pramuka sebagai generasi pembawa perubahan untuk bangsa Indonesia,” kata Maurits.

Sebagai organisasi pendidikan non formal, kata Maurits, gerakan Pramuka realitanya dinilai tidak hanya sekedar menangani character building, tetapi juga berperan aktif pada bidang lainnya seperti pengabdian masyarakat, melakukan adaptasi teknologi, serta turut andil dalam mewujudkan ketahanan pangan.

Sehingga, kata dia, kegiatan dan upaya yang telah dilakukan tersebut adalah bagian dari kontribusi gerakan pramuka dalam menyongsong Indonesia emas tahun 2045 untuk mempersiapkan SDM yang unggul dan memiliki daya saing.

Diapun menyampaikan jika saat ini pemerintah sudah menyiapkan Bumi Peremahan untuk pembinaan Pramuka Kota Bitung.

“Bumi Perkemahannya saat ini tinggal menunggu proses administrasinya untuk nantinya dapat digunakan,” katanya.

Maurits juga menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada para pembina, pelatih, andalan, dan semua yang terlibat membantu.

“Harapan saya kepada kakak-kakak sekalian untuk bekerja lebih keras lagi, sehingga dapat memajukan gerakan pramuka, mewujudkan pramuka yang lebih baik dan andal,” katanya.

Ketua Kwarcab Kota Bitung, Kak Rita Mantiri Tangkudung sendiri berterima kasih kepada Wali Kota Bitung yang banyak mendukung kegiatan Pramuka sehingga banyak prestasi yang diraih Kwarcab Kota Bitung.

“Kami tentunya sangat berterima kasih kepada pak walikota yang terus mendukung kami malahan saat ke Jambore Nasional lalu, Kontingen Kota Bitung berhasil mengondol juara bahkan semua yang digunkan oleh peserta ditanggung oleh pemerintah,” kata Rita.

Hadir juga dalam upacara, Bung Leonardo Axel Galatang, dan para anggota Pramuka.
