Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Wali Kota Bitung, Maurits Mantiri menyampaikan selamat kepada 30 anggota DPRD Kota Bitung periode 2024-2029 yang baru dilantik, Senin (12/8/2024).
Pelantikan 30 anggota DPRD digelar di Ruang Paripurna dihadiri Wali Kota Bitung, Wakil Wali Kota Bitung, Hengky Honandar, Sekretaris Daerah Rudy Theno, kepala OPD dan Forkopimda.
Selain memberikan selamat, Wali Kota juga berpesan kepada 30 anggota DPRD yang baru dilantik agar selalu membangun komunikasi dengan Pemerintah Kota Bitung untuk kepentingan masyarakat dan Kota Bitung.
Menurutnya, hubungan kemitraan antara DPRD dan Pemerintah Daerah harus tetap berjalan dengan penuh rasa kebersamaan, harmonis dan berkomitmen kuat dalam mencapai tujuan yang sama, yaitu kemajuan daerah secara adil dan merata.
“Selama ini Pemerintah Kota Bitung dan DPRD punya hubungan kemitraan yang kuat. Legislatif dan eksekutif saling mendukung satu dengan yang lain dalam melaksanakan tugas dan fungsi masing-masing,” kata Maurits.
Maurits juga menyatakan, Pemerintah Kota Bitung dan DPRD adalah satu, yakni bersama-sama menyelenggarakan pemerintahan daerah yang lebih baik kedepan.
“Kita saling melengkapi seperti yang telah tercipta semala ini,” katanya.
Ia juga mengapresiasi atas kebersamaan yang telah terbangun antara pemerintah dan DPRD Kota Bitung masa jabatan tahun 2019 – 2024 selama ini.
“Terimakasih juga kepada teman-teman anggota DPRD periode 2019-2024 yang sudah selalu bersinergi bersama Pemerintah Kota Bitung selama menjabat. Dan kepada anggota DPRD Bitung yang baru kami ucapkan selamat mengemban tugas sebagai wakil rakyat. Kedepan semoga kita tetap selalu bersinergi membangun Kota Bitung menjadi lebih baik lagi,” katanya.
