Forda P3N Sulut Inspeksi Awak Kapal Perikanan di PPS Bitung

Pemeriksaan terhadap kapal dengan ukuran 30 GT yang berada di area PPS Kota Bitung.

Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Forum Daerah Perlindungan Pekerja Perikanan dan Nelayan (Forda P3N) Sulawesi Utara melakukan kegiatan inspeksi bersama ketenagakerjaan di atas kapal perikanan dengan DFW Indonesia.

Inspeksi ini telah memasuki tahun k eempatnya di Sulawesi Utara.

Pada inspeksi ini, dilakukan pemeriksaan terhadap kapal dengan ukuran 30 GT yang berada di area PPS Kota Bitung.

Turut dilibatkan anggota-anggota dari Forda P3N khususnya anggota kelompok kerja 2 (Pokja 2), antara lain Satwasnaker Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, Kepala Kantor Wilayah Kemenkumham Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, Kepala Kantor Imigrasi Kelas I Manado, Syahbandar perikanan Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Bitung, Kepala Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai Tumumpa, serta perwakilan dari Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan dan Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan Republik Indonesia.

Kegiatan ini dibuka dengan sambutan dari Kepala PPS Bitung yang diwakilkan oleh Recky Pangemanan, Ketua Tim Kerja Kesyahbandaran.

“Kami di PPS Bitung sudah mewajibkan minimal kepada perwira kapal/nahkoda untuk memastikan bahwa kapalnya sudah sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku sebelum diizinkan untuk berlayar, di samping itu PPS selalu mengambil kebijakan-kebijakan yang memperhatikan pelaku perikanan, dengan mempertimbangkan situasi di lapangan yang dihadapi oleh AKP dan juga pemilik kapal,” ujar Recky Pangemanan.

Imam Trihatmadja, Direktur Program dari DFW Indonesia, juga turut menyampaikan bahwa inspeksi bersama ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengintegrasikan pengawasan dan perlindungan terhadap pekerja, menurunkan indikator eksploitasi tenaga kerja, kerja paksa dan perdagangan orang, sebagai aturan teknis pelaksanaan pengawasan awak kapal perikanan, mensinergikan aturan – aturan, dan yang terakhir meningkatkan kualitas dan konsistensi para pengawas di sektor perikanan.

Inspeksi ini sendiri merupakan sebuah usaha untuk memperkuat perlindungan terhadap pekerja pada industri perikanan di Indonesia sebagai bagian dari perlindungan dan kepastian Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM).

Adapun pada kegiatan inspeksi kali ini, kapal yang menjalani pemeriksaan dinilai berdasarkan 35 check list indikator yang sudah dirancang khusus oleh Forda P3N melalui panduan pelaksanaan inspeksi bersama di atas kapal perikanan untuk menilai kelayakan kapal dan keselamatan bagi ABK Perikanan.

Laporan dari inspeksi ini kemudian akan diteruskan ke beberapa dinas terkait untuk bisa ditindaklanjuti antara lain: Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, Satwasnaker Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, DKP Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, Syahbandar Perikanan PPS Bitung, Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan Republik Indonesia dan Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan Republik Indonesia.
