Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Anggota DPRD Kota Bitung, Lady Joke Lumantow menemui Wali Kota Bitung, Maurits Mantiri, Selasa (23/7/2024).
Pertemuan itu dilakukan di teras Rumah Dinas Wali Kota Bitung Kelurahan Kadoodan Kecamatan Madidir.
Menariknya, kedua ketua partai ini, yakni Maurits Ketua DPC PDI Perjuangan Kota Bitung dan Lady Ketua DPC Partai DEmokrat Kota Bitung melakukan pertemuan empat mata tanpa didampingi siapapun.
Kedua terlihat membahas hal serius namun santai. Itu terlihat dari sesekali keduanya melepas tawa sambil menikmati suguhan makanan ringan.
Usai melakukan pertemuan, Lady yang dicegat sejumlah media mengaku hanya pertemuan silahturahmi dengan Wali Kota Bitung.
Namun, ia tidak menampik jika silaturahmi itu juga membahas berbagai hal, baik itu seputar kondisi di DPRD, program pemerintah dan riak-riak menjelang Pilkada 2024.
“Sebelum Pemilu, kami sering bertemu dengan Pak Maurits melakukan koordinasi mengingat beliau adalah pembina partai politik. Namun karena kesibukan Pemilu, makanya kami baru bisa bertemu hari ini,” kata Lady.
Lady mengaku, kendati berbeda partai dengan Maurits, namun dirinya memiliki kesamaan visi, terutama membangun Kota Bitung lebih baik.
Karena itu, ia mengaku aktif bertukar pendapat dengan Maurits dan saling memberikan masukan terkait program-program kemasyarakatan yang dijalankan.
“Partai boleh beda, tapi visi bisa sama. Nah ini yang kami terus selaraskan apalagi itu menyangkut mensejahterakan masyarakat,” katanya.
Soal Pilkada apalagi kemungkinan partainya berkoalisi dengan PDI Perjuangan, Lady mengaku tidak membahas itu dengan Maurits.
Karena menurutnya, masalah koalisi dan Pilkada adalah gawean DPD dan PDPP, pihkanya hanya menunggu petunjuk untuk dijalankan serta diamankan.
“Kami berdua tahu diri sehingga tidak membahas itu (koalisi Pilkada.red). Inti pembiacraan hanya koordinasi antara lagislatif dan eksekutif,” katanya.
