Manado, VivaSulut.com – Babak penyisihan Bright Gas Cooking Competition (BGCC) 2024 digelar di Kota Manado, Sulawesi Utara, Sabtu (13/7/2024).
Sedikitnya, 30 chef rumahan yang sudah terseleksi dari seluruh Indonesia, memadati Area Taman Kesatuan Bangsa, lokasi BGCC 2024.
Kota Manado merupakan tahapan penyisihan ketiga setelah Bandung pada 7 Juli 2024 lalu dimana para juara di babak penyisihan akan mengikuti kompetisi tingkat nasional di Jakarta.
BGCC 2024 adalah program unggulan dari produk Pertamina yaitu Bright Gas, dimana BGCC ini merupakan merupakan kompetisi memasak untuk mencari dan menggali potensi juru masak di Indonesia dengan mengusung tema ‘Inspirasi Kuliner Nusantara’.
Selain mengasah keterampilan memasak ala rumahan, para peserta juga berkesempatan memenangkan beragam hadiah menarik dengan total ratusan juta rupiah dan kursus memasak eksklusif berstandar internasional di Le Cordon Bleu Thailand.
Untuk penyisihan di Kota Manado, Pertamina Patra Niaga Sulawesi menghadirkan Mariska Tracy Master Chef Indonesia S7, sebagai salah satu juri dikompetisi memasak ini.
Juri lainnya yaitu Chef Andika, Chef Hotel Berbintang Kota Manado dan juri tamu Wilson Wijaya, Sales Area Manager Retail Sulutgo Pertamina Patra Niaga.
Wilson Wijaya merasa sangat antusias dengan BGCC 2024 yang mana tahapan penyisihan digelar di 6 kota besar yaitu Palembang, Bandung, Manado, Banjarmasin, Surabaya, dan Jakarta sejak 1 Juni – 31 Agustus 2024.
“Tahun ini pesertanya mencapai 1.500 orang dari seluruh Indonesia. Ini menunjukkan banyak masyarakat yang senang dan pandai memasak, apalagi memasak untuk hidangan keluarga sesuai dengan tema kita hari ini,” ujarnya.
Wilson menambahkan bahwa Pertamina juga mengapresiasi bagi pengguna LPG Non Subsidi.
“Kami mengapresiasi kepada konsumen setia pengguna Bright Gas 5,5 Kg, 12 Kg dan Bright Can 220 Gr yang dapat digunakan untuk camping dan kompor portable yang sangat mudah, kebutuhan masyarakat terus kami berikan yang terbaik. Selamat berkompetisi, Bright Gas makin cerdas makin aman!” ujar Wilson.
Sebelumnya, proses pendaftaran telah dimulai dari tanggal 1 Juni 2024 melalui link www.bgcc2024.com yang kemudian dilakukan seleksi online.
Peserta yang lolos ke tahap penyisihan akan diumumkan melalui akun media sosial Instagram @brightgas dan website resmi Bright Gas www.brightgas.co.id.
Kreasi Masakan Chef Rumahan Manado di Ajang BGCC
Saat pertandingan memasak, peserta diperbolehkan memasak dengan bahan dasar olahan ikan laut yang menunjukkan khas kuliner Manado dengan menu andalannya masing-masing masing serta bahan tambahan yang telah ditentukan.
Peserta dapat berkreasi dan berinovasi untuk menciptakan hidangan dengan cita rasa yang unik yang tentunya khas indonesia.
Hasil dari babak penyisihan di Kota Manado ini menghasilkan 3 orang juara yang selanjutnya akan diberangkatkan ke Jakarta untuk mengikuti grand final bertanding bersama chef rumahan lainnya dari kota berbeda.
Adapun pemenang BGCC yaitu Rahman HN meraih Juara 1 menghidangkan menu Tuna Tuturuga, Rica Rodo & Kemangi Oil, Okky Ferdian sebagai juara 2 menghidangkan menu Tuna Bakar Bumbu Banjar Kuah Laksa Cibinong, dan Puguh Dwi Kristanto sebagai juara 3 menghidangkan menu Bola Tuna Saos Semur & Mashed Potato Sereh.
Ketiganya berhasil memperoleh hadiah masing-masing uang tunai untuk juara I memperoleh Rp15 juta, Juara II Rp10 juta, Juara III Rp7,5 juta.
Selain itu ada juga hadir bagi Juara harapan, yaitu Juara Harapan I mendapatkan Rp5 juta, Juara Harapan II Rp2,5 juta dan masing-masing juara juga mendapatkan tabung perdana Bright Gas 5,5 Kg dan alat memasak.
Bagi 3 peserta yang mendapatkan juara 1,2 dan 3 otomatis lolos ke grand final dan akan diundang ke Jakarta untuk mengikuti lomba pada 24 Agustus 2024 dengan biaya akomodasi dan transportasi ditanggung oleh panitia.
Selain lomba memasak, dalam kegiatan ini menghadirkan UMKM unggulan binaan Pertamina yang memiliki olahan kuliner khas Manado yang bisa memanjakan lidah para pendatang seperti panada, biapong, lampu-lampu, cucur dan masih banyak lagi.
Sebelumnya pada sesi pembukaan, dari Tim Retail Sales Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi menyampaikan tips dan tata cara pasang Bright Gas Can serta talk show product knowledge Bright Gas kepada para peserta sebagai edukasi tambahan wawasan.
Secara terpisah Area Manager Communication, Relation & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi, Fahrougi Andriani Sumampouw mengatakan kompetisi ini digelar sebagai wujud apresiasi Pertamina kepada para pelanggan setia Bright Gas agar senantiasa terus menggunakan produk LPG Non Subsidi yang berkualitas dari Pertamina.
“Banyak keuntungan dan manfaat yang diperoleh jika setia menggunakan produk berkualitas Bright Gas. Banyak hadiah dan tentunya menggunakan Bright Gas memasak terasa lebih aman dan nyaman. Bagi Masyarakat mampu namun masih memakai produk gas subsidi, yuk segera beralih ke Bright Gas”, ujar Fahrougi.
Ia pun menambahkan keunggulan dari produk Bright Gas.
“Kami kenalkan Bright Gas sebagai LPG non subsidi berkualitas dengan teknologi Double Spindle Valve System (DSVS) atau katup pengaman ganda untuk keamanan ekstra dan terdapat juga fitur Bright Gas Scanner untuk memastikan keaslian produk.
Selain itu, kami juga memiliki layanan khusus Bright Gas untuk kenyamanan penggunanya, yakni layanan antar Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS) 135,” tutup Fahrougi.
