Minimalisir Resiko Bencana, Basarnas Gandeng Stakeholder Guna Edukasi Potensi SAR Sulut

Pesan ini disampaikan Direktur Bina Potensi Basarnas Agus Haryono dalam kegiatan sarasehan bersama Potensi SAR di Sulawesi Utara, Rabu (10/7/2024) di Grand Master Kota Tomohon.

Dikatakan Agus Haryono, sangat penting bagi Basarnas untuk mengedukasi masyarakat untuk menjaga diri dari potensi bencana yang ada.

“Kita melaksanakan program pemberdayaan sehingga harapan kami nanti ketika terjadi kondisi darurat, masyarakat itu paham apa yang harus dilakukan untuk menyelamatkan diri mereka sendiri membantu keluarganya orang-orang terdekat sambil menunggu bantuan tim SAR gabungan,” ujar Agus didampingi Kepala SAR Manado George Randang.

Kegiatan Sarasehan tersebut akan diikuti dengan pelatihan bersama pada Kamis (11/7/2024) di Rindam XIII/Merdeka di Kota Tomohon.

Menurut Agus Haryono, terpilihnya lokasi Kota Tomohon untuk kegiatan sarasehan tersebut, dikarenakan kondisi alam yang mirip di Pulau Ruang Kabupaten Kepulauan Sitaro, dimana keduanya memiliki gunung api aktif.

“Kenapa kami pilih Tomohon karena kami belajar dari pengalaman pada saat kemarin terjadi erupsi Gunung Ruang, penting bagi masyarakat memiliki kemampuan untuk melakukan evakuasi mandiri jika terjadi kondisi darurat. Karena terkadang posisi tim SAR lagi agak jauh dan perlu waktu untuk mencapai lokasi warga,” jelas Agus.

Masyarakat Kota Tomohon, khususnya yang tinggal di Kawasan Rawan Bencana (KRB) I, II dan III, dinilai juga perlu mengetahui rute yang aman ketika melakukan evakuasi mandiri.

Di sisi lain, Agus mengajak seluruh stakeholder terkait yaitu TNI/Polri, Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG), Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD), serta potensi SAR lainnya untuk terus menjaga sinergitas

“Kami dari Basarnas juga bersilaturahmi kepada seluruh potensi SAR yang ada di Sulawesi Utara khususnya di Kota Tomohon dan sekitarnya karena kita ketahui bahwa kami tidak bisa bekerja sendiri. Kami membutuhkan hubungan dari seluruh potensi SAR untuk menjadi bagian dari upaya pencegahan dan mitigasi untuk memperkecil resiko,” tambah Agus.

Danrindam XIII/Merdeka, Kolonel Inf Achmad Marzuki berbagi pengalaman dalam proses penanganan bencana alam.

Secara terpisah, Danrindam XIII/Merdeka, Kolonel Inf Achmad Marzuki menyambut baik kerjasama dengan Basarnas dan stakeholder terkait yang sudah terjalin sejauh ini.

Dalam kesempatannya, Marzuki membagikan pengalaman dalam penanganan bencana sehingga menurutnya sangat penting untuk masyarakat agar memiliki pemahaman tentang teknik SAR.

“Memang butuh perencanaan yang besar namun Indonesia adalah negara yang rawan bencana sehingga sangat perlu mitigasi bencana. Butuh Peran semua pihak dan jangan ada ego sektoral,” pesan Marzuki.

Ikut hadir dalam sarasehan tersebut, Kepala BPBD Kota Tomohon Hengkie Supit, BIN, BMKG, Komunitas Radio Antar Penduduk Indonesia (RAPI), Asosiasi Pemandu Gunung Indonesia (APGI) dan potensi SAR lainnya di Kota Tomohon.
