Minut, VivaSulut.com – Sudah hampir pasti, Elly Lasut, Ketua Demokrat Sulawesi Utara, kembali absen dalam Pemilihan Gubernur atau Pilgub Sulut 2024.

Tanda-tanda batalnya Elly Lasut bertarung di Pilgub Sulut 2024, semakin jelas, seiring pernyataan para petinggi partai Demokrat di Sulut yang mulai menyebut nama Yulius Selvanus Komaling, bakal calon gubernur dari Partai Gerindra.

Nama Yulius Selvanus Komaling telah lebih dulu ditetapkan Partai Gerindra Sulut sebagai bakal calon gubernur berpasangan dengan Tatong Bara.

Sementara, Elly Lasut ramai dipasangkan dengan Michaela Elsiana Paruntu (MEP) adik dari Ketua Golkar Sulut, Christiany Eugenia ‘Tetty’ Paruntu (CEP).

Namun, sejak akhir Juni 2024, berhembus kabar Elly Lasut tidak mendapat tiket untuk maju di Pilgub Sulut 2024.

Sumber resmi VivaSulut.com, Senin (1/7/1024) menyebutkan Koalisi Indonesia Maju (KIM) sebagai pengusung Prabowo Subianto dan Gibran Rakabuming di Pilpres 2024, terinformasi mendukung Yulius Selvanus Komaling, putra Minahasa, sahabat dekat Prabowo Subianto.

Informasi yang dihimpun, Elly Lasut ditawari salah satu jabatan sebagai Duta Besar (Dubes).

“Pak Elly Lasut ditawari menjadi Duta Besar Indonesia untuk Filipina,” ujar sumber VivaSulut.com.

Sebelumnya, Sekretaris DPD Demokrat Sulawesi Utara, Billy Lombok, menegaskan bahwa partainya tetap solid dan menepis berbagai isu liar yang beredar selama ini sebagai hoaks.

“Kami sangat kompak dalam menatap Pilkada Sulut dan memiliki hubungan yang mesra dengan Partai Gerindra,” ujarnya.

Sementara itu, Ketua DPC Partai Demokrat Minut Stendy Rondonuwu menyebutkan baik Elly Lasut maupun Yulius Selvanus Komaling adalah tokoh hebat yang bisa mengembangkan Sulut ke arah yang lebih baik.

“Sekali lagi, semua ada di ranah DPP dan kami sebagai kader siap mengamankan apapun keputusan DPP,” ujar Rondonuwu.
