Bitung, VivaSulut.com – Kader DPC Partai Hanura Kota Bitung, Roy Maria menyambangi kantor DPP Partai Hanura di Jakarta, Rabu (26/6/2024).

Dari informasi, Roy datang khusus berdiskusi dengan Sekjen DPP Partai Hanura, Benny Ramdhani dengan tujuan membahas rekomendasi partai untuk Pilkada Kota Bitung 2024.

Namun informasi itu dibantah Roy. Menurutnya, pertemuan dirinya dengan Sekjen DPP Hanura hanyalah silaturahmi sesama kader.

“Saya hanya kader biasa sehingga tidak elok harus membahas masalah rekom Pilkada dengan DPP. Itu gawean DPD dan DPC,” kata Roy.

Roy mengaku, kebetulan ada urusan di Jakarta hingga dirinya menyempatkan untuk bersilaturahmi dengan pengurus DPP, yakni Benny Ramdhani.

Ditambah lagi, kata dia, pada Pilcaleg 2024 ia menjadi salah satu Caleg Partai Hanura Dapil Madidir-Girian hingga menemui Benny Ramdhani untuk menyampaikan terima kasih.

“Dari tahun 2014, saya sudah dekat dengan Bung Benny karena menjadi tim pemenangan saat mencalonkan DPD. Dan komunikasi itu terjalin hingga kini,” katanya.

Dalam pertemuan itu, lanjutnya, Benny yang juga menjabat Kepala BP2MI RI meminta agar kader Hanura Kota Bitung tetap kompak dan satu komando menjamin jaminan rekomendasi yang kemudian diterbitkan DPP untuk Pilkada Kota Bitung.

“Sebagai kader, tentu apa yang diinstruksikan Bung Benny saya siap pengamanan,” katanya.
