Manado, VivaSulut.com – Ketua Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Sulawesi Utara (Sulut) Kenly Poluan melantik Petugas Pemutahiran Data Pemilih (Pantarlih) se-Sulut, di Auditorium Universitas Sam Ratulangi Manado, Senin (24/6/2024).
Para Pantarlih akan melakukan pendataan dari rumah ke rumah, untuk mengecek kembali pemilih yang akan menggunakan hak pilih pada hari pencoblosan Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada), 27 November 2024.
Kenly Poluan sesaat usai pelantikan menjelaskan, jumlah Pantarlih Pilkada di Sulut adalah sebanyak 7.568 orang.
“Hari ini di Auditorium Unsrat Manado, telah bergabung 3.193 petugas dari lima daerah yakni Kota Manado, Bitung, Tomohon, Minahasa Utara, dan Minahasa. Sementara untuk kabupaten kota lainnya mengikuti secara virtual,” jelas Kenly.
Ia berharap, seluruh Pantarlih Pilkada dapat langsung turun lapangan melaksanakan misi demokrasi melindungi hak pilih warga.
“Setelah dilantik, para Pantarlih mulai Senin hari ini langsung bekerja melakukan kunjungan ke semua warga pemilih, memastikan warga negara yang punya hak memilih wajib dimasukan di daftar pemilih,” ujar Kenly Poluan.
Ia meminta agar Pantarlih melaksanakan tugas konstitusi sesuai ketentuan perundang undangan terkait pilkada melindungi hak hak politik warga negara terutama hak untuk memilih di Pilkada.
“Tentu pekerjaan yang akan dilakukan pantarlih walaupun singkat tapi sangat menentukan suksesnya pelaksanaan pilkada baik pemilihan gubernur dan wakil serta pemilihan bupati, wali kota dan wakil wali kota di Provinsi Sulut, ” tambahnya.
Sebagai informasi, proses pendataan pemilih akan berlangsung selama satu bulan sebelum penetapan Daftar Pemilih Tetap (DPT).
Pelantikan Pantarlih Pilkada sekaligus Apel Akbar Kesiapan Coklik (Pemutahiran dan Pencocokan Data Pemilih).
Hadir dalam pelantikan, Gubernur Sulut diwakili Asisten I Denny Mangala, Rektor Unsrat diwakili Dekan Fisipol Ferry Liando, Ketua Bawaslu Sulut Ardiles Mewoh, anggota Bawaslu Sulut, Steffen Linu dan jajaran Forkopimda Provinsi Sulut.
