PLN Rampungkan Pengembangan Master Station DCC Gorontalo untuk Pelayanan Kelistrikan Makin Andal

Manado, VivaSulut.com – PT PLN (Persero) memahami bahwa pengembangan teknologi digital menjadi poros utama dalam membangun pelayanan yang berkelanjutan dan efisien khususnya untuk keandalan listrik yang ada.

Hal ini pun direalisasikan dengan pengembangan pada Master Station Distribution Control Center (DCC) Kelistrikan Gorontalo.

General Manager PLN Unit Induk Distribusi Sulawesi Utara, Sulawesi Tengah dan Gorontalo (UID Suluttenggo) Ari Dartomo menjelaskan ketersediaan dan keandalan pasokan listrik adalah komitmen utama yang harus dijaga oleh PLN dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada pelanggan.

Salah satu metode untuk menjamin hal ini adalah dengan menjaga keandalan Server Master Station.

“Salah satunya adalah kehandalan kinerja SCADA atau Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition yang merupakan salah satu kunci dalam menjaga kehandalan dan ketersediaan pasokan listrik dalam proses bisnis PLN,” kata Dartomo.

Ia pun menyampaikan bahwa PLN menggunakan teknologi yang tinggi dalam memantau dan mengoperasikan distribusi kelistrikan yang ada kepada pelanggan.

Hal ini sangat dibutuhkan mengingat respond time dalam eksekusi operasional pun menjadi salah satu faktor penentu kualitas pelayanan PLN.

Sebagian besar pengaturan distribusi tenaga listrik dilakukan menggunakan SCADA.

Sehingga apabila terjadi gangguan SCADA maka akan menghambat pengaturan distribusi tenaga listrik dan mempengaruhi pendapatan bahkan citra PLN,” jelas Dartomo.

Dengan ini diharapkan keandalan Sistem SCADA dapat meningkat sehingga kontinuitas ketersedian listrik ke pelanggan dapat terjaga dan menurunkan jumlah gangguan listrik pada pelanggan.

Manager PLN UP2D Suluttenggo Lalla mengungkapkan rasa syukur atas pengembangan Master Station DCC Gorontalo dapat selesai tepat waktu.

“Peningkatan ini menjadi lompatan besar bagi operasional kelistrikan di Suluttenggo khususnya di daerah Gorontalo, namun kita tidak berhenti berinovasi untuk terus meningkatkan pelayanan terbaik PLN,” ujar Lalla.

Ia pun menyebutkan beberapa hal yang menjadi peningkatan besar pada sistem kelistrikan yang ada pasca rampungnya Master Station DCC Gorontalo.

“Diantaranya kualitas pelayanan operasional SCADA, kuantitas ketersediaan listrik, kontinuitas distribusi listrik, fungsi pelaporan, serta analisa dan evaluasi sistem distribusi menjadi semakin baik,” ungkap Lalla.

Selain pengembangan sistem, pegawai PLN pun juga telah dibekali pelatihan untuk mengoperasikan dan memelihara peralatan Sistem SCADA tersebut. Sehingga pegawai PLN mampu mengoperasikan, melakukan troubleshooting terhadap gangguan yang terjadi dan memelihara Sistem SCADA dengan baik.

PLN juga terintegrasi dengan pilar Customer Focused, di mana PLN berusaha memberikan layanan terbaik dan berkualitas dengan pengalaman menggunakan listrik yang tidak hanya bersih tapi juga mudah untuk diakses secara online melalui aplikasi PLN Mobile, yang dapat diunduh gratis dari Play Store dan App Store.
