Penipuan Modus Pinjol dan Lowongan Kerja Marak, Rekening Langsung Habis

Jakarta, VivaSulut.com – Taktik penipuan yang menyasar sektor keuangan kian meresahkan. Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) meminta masyarakat lebih waspada.

Jika terbuai pancingan penipu, saldo rekening bisa langsung melayang.

Seperti dilansir dari cnbcindonesia.com, OJK mengatakan beberapa gaya penipuan baru di era teknologi memanfaatkan layanan peminjaman online (pinjol) ilegal.

Salah satu tandanya adalah rekening tiba-tiba ditransfer sejumlah uang dari layanan pinjol.

Hal ini perlu diwaspadai ketika Anda tak pernah mengajukan pinjaman.

“Penipu akan menelpon minta dikembalikan uang yang salah transfer tersebut. Padahal, hitungannya menjadi utang korban dengan bunga yang berat,” kata Anggota Dewan Komisioner (ADK) merangkap Kepala Eksekutif Pengawas Perilaku Pelaku Usaha Jasa Keuangan, Edukasi dan Perlindungan Konsumen Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) Frederica Widyasari Dewi, dalam RDK OJK beberapa saat lalu.

Penipuan Lowongan Kerja

Selain modus penipuan lewat pinjol, Frederica juga menyorot soal penipuan lewat tawaran pekerjaan. Biasanya, pekerjaan itu akan sangat menarik sehingga korban mudah tergiur.

Selanjutnya, penipu meminta korban mengirim uang deposit dalam jumlah tertentu. Uang deposit itu dikatakan sebagai salah satu syarat.

Ketika duit ditransfer, penipu lantas kabur. Tak ada lagi kejelasan soal tawaran pekerjaan yang diberikan di awal.

Penipuan OTP Kartu Kredit

Penipuan lainnya yang menyasar sektor keuangan adalah melalui otentikasi kartu kredit.

Saat nomor kartu kredit dipegang penipu, maka mereka akan menyamar sebagai
pihak berwenang untuk mendapatkan otentikasi tersebut.

Padahal, otentikasi atau OTP kartu kredit sifatnya sangat konfidensial dan privat.

Frederica mengimbau agar masyarakat terus waspada. Jangan pernah menyerahkan data diri, sekalipun penipu mengaku sebagai petugas bank.

“Kalau petugas bank nggak akan meminta OTP kalau bukan kita yang menghubungi bank tersebut,” ujarnya.

“Jangan gugup, misal saat tidur atau mau meeting jadi nggak fokus. Kalau menggunakan jasa keuangan ilegal, bisa saja penipu bobol data masyarakat,” ia menjelaskan.

Modus penipuan permintaan OTP kartu kredit ini marak dilancarkan di dalam maupun luar negeri. Ingat selalu bahwa OTP adalah sesuati yang tidak boleh dibagikan ke orang lain.
